  1. Thoroughly enjoying my streak of booing recently. Arbroath and Falkirk leading up to GSTK on Tuesday being the highlight of my booing career. Tonight seems a splendid opportunity to continue so I don’t see why not.* *Decision to attend may have already been made.
  2. On the fence about this tonight. Can someone give me, and anyone else feeling the same way, a reason to not just stay in the house?
  3. I drove all the way home from Falkirk last season without any of us speaking a word, apart from when someone cut me off on the M8 and I lost it. Other than that I’ve never let a game ruin my day. It’s pointless and a bit strange to let an average league game bother you.
  4. Not the end of the world if we lose here, but with the stadium bouncing I’d hope we’d be able to keep the momentum going against a largely untried QB. Can’t see us pressuring him much though so it’ll be up to Bates to guide the secondary through it again. Hoping Troy Andersen is fit but can’t see it. Patterson back is a huge bonus though and gives Ridder another reliable option. Pitts will get targets eventually and I hope they don’t bow to pressure and start forcing it. I may have to pinch myself if we start 2-0. Build the Terry Fontenot statue.
  5. If it’s so vitally important that you must release all your built up anger at any slack pass or shite touch, a quiet ‘for fucks sake’ under your breath will suffice. I don’t know how people don’t feel embarrassed. You wouldn’t shout like a spoiled wean on a bus or in a shopping centre, so why in a ground surrounded by the same people.
  6. Sure Michael Smith’s name was mentioned on here a few times as someone people would want? Signed for Yeovil Town yesterday in the 6th tier.
  7. Was told it should be in the shop at the end of the month so should be revealed soon.
  8. So what I understand is that when we are beaten in the League Cup by a shitter team, we are just unprepared for the season yet. Please give us time we don’t have a full team yet don’t judge us on this game etc etc. But when we beat a bigger team we are the greatest team on the planet and this is a historic result that must be remembered for generations. Tick. Tock.
  9. I’ve no watched it but someone mentioned they said about a mural on Somerset Road. This is the only place I’ve ever heard that suggested so I took that as them reading the forum as well. Find that amusing.
  10. Can we please stop with these new manager suggestions my eyes are already in enough pain tonight.
  11. Liquidate us and raze Somerset to the ground if this ever even pops into a directors head as a passing thought.
  12. We’re living off the signing of two strikers who were a perfect fit for this league. Agents must be jumping for joy when their client, a nobody making up the numbers in the reserve teams of irrelevant English lower league teams, gets a call from us promising them a new start. Our manager was actually cherry-picked on the recommendation of a friend. What sort of serious club finds players and staff this way. The playing side of this club deserves to go down for the ineptitude and complete immaturity it has been shown.
  13. The Raith Rovers comparison is even more incredible when you think where they were after the Goodwillie incident. Fans saying they’d never be back, sponsors leaving, the women’s team disappearing and a general hatred between club and the outside world. Its been said a thousand times but it’s just another piece of evidence confirming that a product on the park overrides everything. Clubs that are run like a village bowling club have been successful in the past and clubs run excellently have failed. I’m not advocating for heads to roll at this very moment, but I really hope sentiment doesn’t delay any important personnel decisions when the time inevitably comes.
  14. We were played off the park by what is turning out to actually be quite a shite Morton team, despite how it looked that day, with those 2 in. I don’t think it changes anything.
  15. Chalmers will contribute far more good than bad over the season but I can see why you’d say that as I thought he was, largely, complete arse today. Certainly doesn’t help that he looks like our only capable out ball though.
  16. Can’t recall ever being as angry at full time before. Just as well it was a lovely day on the East Coast. It’s not a case of it’s Bullen’s fault or it’s Mathies fault, it’s a combination of both. Taking your number 9 off whos just scored and replacing him with a guy who has done a deal with the Devil to have a career in football is the sign of a manager at the arse end of his tenure. Then there was the classic man down sub in Bryden. The bald fraud is a waste of a seat in the dugout. Mathie got the boot at Hibs because Jack Ross wanted certain positions strengthened and he never got it. Sounds awfully familiar. He’ll be here to the end though so moaning about him is wasted breath. We’ve been crying out for a man to take the ball off the defence. We have that now but that only moves the problem up a bit as we have no link between middle and front. Oh and McGeady should really consider hanging his boots up. 3 or 4 shots in the first half I could’ve farted harder.
  17. I was reluctant to say this as I didn’t want to sound picky but that is shockingly bad. Like I could make that in about 3 minutes. Im sure the AI voice doesn’t even say Reading correctly either.
  18. If you are a Premiership club with any sort of chance of qualifying for Europe then this isn’t good but for us who will never be affected by the coefficient it’s absolutely hilarious and I relish midweeks in August every year. Just a shame it wasn’t 54-5.
  19. Great to see Fergie there tonight to watch the Dons.
  20. Devlin is so far out his depth why is he starting in a Europa League play-off.
  21. Had a look at their Wikipedia there and turns out their name just means hedge. Why didn’t Brechin’s founders think of that.
