  1. Don’t know how this forum can be described as unbearable when the Somerset Road End exists.
  2. Regarding loan players I’ve heard a lot of managers say the rule is that they loan out attackers to teams challenging for the league and defenders to teams fighting relegation, as that’s where they’ll get the most action. No point sending your brightest 18 year old striker to a team that plays long ball or your defender to a team that’s winning comfortably every week. Unless of course it’s a player like Afolabi who they’ve gave up developing and just want rid of.
  3. So many of our targets have turned us down now that it’s pretty much guaranteed that the signing(s) we do make will be rushed.
  4. Atlanta Falcons for me. Fell in love with the Ryan, Jones, Sanu trio but sadly they are all gone. Also they are shite and my username will tell you I have a habit of supporting shite sports teams. Praying Kyle Pitts is the future but he’ll need a lot of help.
  5. Not renewed my season ticket yet and I’ve just had a phone call from Musonda who says they’re phoning up folk to try and get them to renew. I was always going to renew anyway just haven’t got round to it yet but I like how proactive they’re being about it. If we’d had a league cup campaign like we’ve had in the past I reckon we could’ve hit 1300 at least. Not heard an update on the numbers in a while which makes me think we’ll be less than a 1000. Entirely understandable with the shite that’s being served up
  6. I think we all agree that Reading is the better attacking full back but the way we set up the two strikers (against Elgin anyway) meant that all our wing play was down the right hand side. McKenzie is naturally going to drop in to the wing because that’s where he’s played for a lot of his career. Dipo on the other hand is an out and out striker so is more inclined to stay central. If Bullen is insisting on this formation he has to realise who the better wing back is and encourage the play to go down that side, limiting the effect Houston’s shiteness has.
  7. Coped well with our long ball antics last season. Could take the ball in and hold defenders off really well. Probably his main trait. Would ideally have runners feeding off him down the channels as that’s where his best play for us came. Finishing lacked but he still scored a fair amount of goals with the minimal service he was given. Hard to tell how he would cope in a team going for the league as you guys presumably are, as we set up last season to fail at 3pm.
  8. 3 best runners up, which most of the time equates to 9 points and you’re through with those on 8 missing out.
  9. Failing to see why there was so much hype around Dempsey. Guy has been anonymous in both games but these kinds of players tend to escape scrutiny because they don’t make any mistakes. Whole team is just another binfire and I can’t think of another championship team worse than us at the minute.
  10. Don’t understand football managers’ stubbornness to just play to their squad’s strength. f**k me it takes one look at our team to see we do not have the players to play wing back. But no apparently it takes Bullen about half a fucking season at this rate. At this point I feel like he’s going to persist with it til we fluke a win then he’ll use that as evidence it works.
  11. What is the point in pre-season friendlies if you’re going to treat the league cup the same? Utter fucking dugmeat. These are the games that season tickets are sold and I’m sure no one’s buying one off of that
  12. Is McKenzie RW or a second striker? Because if it’s the former then we have no LW opposite. If it’s the latter then he’s drifting wildly out of position. Don’t think one attack went down the left there which means all our play is going through the worst partnership I’ve ever seen in Houston and Mckenzie.
  13. Usually these under 23 guys have had loans before at say the National League North/South and you can tell the level they’ll be at. This is a complete unknown though which imo is a good thing.
  14. This Andrew Pierce guy is how I imagined a Daily Mail executive to look. Scruffy as f**k like the c**t he worships. If you had “Corbyn” on your bingo card then you can now tick that off.
  15. 1. Partick 2. Raith 3. Dundee 4. ICT 5. Queens Park 6. Arbroath 7. Ayr 8. Cove 9. Morton 10. Hamilton
  16. If nothing else I am hyped up at the fact these guys are not the usual shite like half of Morton last summer. This time last year I couldn’t give a flying f**k when our first game was but now I just want the fitba back.
  17. Hope John Gall is watching this in tears the pie munching killie c**t
  18. Unpopular opinion: Would much rather have Broadfoot than Griffiths. But would be a lot happier with none of them
  19. Shat myself earlier when the notification on my phone read ‘Welcome to Ayr United, Craig’. Hopefully a teaser by the social media guy
  20. 2nd half team looks familiar except Dolan. Another youth player?
  21. Would you prefer your club side to be relegated to make it easier to win something? Not as simple as that. League B and League C both provide the same path to the Euros which is what we really want. Would we have won the League B playoffs for Euro 2020? I understand why getting relegated is not ideal now though.
  22. Correct me if I’m being stupid here but since we won’t win the group now is it not more beneficial to be relegated so that League C is easier to win? Feel like I’m missing something.
  23. In case you couldn’t see I actually quoted 2 posts. Not defending Gary Breen as he is utter dogshit. Just sick of fans piling on petty wee things such as this when their team is being shagged.
  24. So? Do you also get offended when the cameras show 3 sides of the Aviva celebrating an Ireland goal? He has every right to laugh at us. Probably also laughing at the fact you’ve actually subscribed to Premier Sports
