  1. With Falkirk having 4/5 CHs now on there books, I can probably see Bene staying tbh, won’t be against him staying or going tbh,

but thank god McGlynn went too Falkirk if he was targeting Henderson and Donaldson 2 absolute dumplins

be interesting too see who Murray keeps/brings in, we’ve all resigned to the fact that Tumilty is likely to be away same with Frankie so it will be a lot of work to do with a month and a bit till the league cup starts

Can’t see Murray taking more than 1 Airdrie player to Raith tbh. Unlucky for Raith fans but he doesn’t go wild on signings and only brings in just the right amount of players. He’s not a fan of a big squad either as mentioned in his first Raith interview.

Unlike Raith, we need to build an entire squad for next season which will be tough. I think we‘ll get some manager news next week as we really need to kick on.

We’ve got 19 players under contract, 6 of them youngsters, 3 of which hasn’t had much game time if any Bow, Mahady, Masson, bow is getting released from what I’ve heard, Mahady might be as well as he struggled at Burntisland shipyard, Masson might be loaned.

so that 3 spaces to fill plus our out of contracted players not all of them are going to re-sign, so there’s a lot more work to be done than what people think

He had a decent season but would imagine he’ll be much more of an assistant at that level rather than playing regularly. Not a huge loss on the park and whoever comes in as manager will probably want their own man in anyway.

It’s quite funny that one of the reasons he left East Fife to join us was the travelling from Ayrshire to Fife was too much for him and now he’s back up there.

Your right he probably won’t play much for us but I think he will be registered as a player with our injury record in that position he could come in play a few games till players will be back

I’m not sure we will take many from airdrie tbh definitely not a mass exodus

I’m not saying mass exodus maybe 1 or possibly 2 depending if Brad Spencer signs a new contract (I think he will) as the 2 areas we need to really focus on is Defence and attack we only have 1 senior striker Vaughan and possibly need another 2.

2 cbs on contracts Lang injured, Bene out of contract, Frankie out of contract both not guaranteed to sign new deals, no RB we need 1 or maybe 2 of them  there’s more work to be done than what people think

He is a Kirkcaldy lad as well so maybe something that happens, don’t think you guys will have a mass exodus to us tbh

I think it will be probably Easton/Frizzell  that he will look at to bring in and surely we can better Airdries offer (if rumours are true about them being in contract talks)

we need to focus first and foremost at the back because we only have 2 CBs under contract,  1 injured and no RB

Agnew looks like going but not sure about the rest of backroom staff.

Tend to agree with regards to players but imagine he'll have a lot of competition for Easton.

I think it will be just Scott Agnew because at us he will already have the GK coach Robbie Thomson, The club Physio, Sports scientists etc we’ve already got that in place so it’ll probably just Scott Agnew and Robbie Thomson as his Assistant/Coaching staff

The chances of us signing Easton are very, very slim. We'd need to come in with a very good offer for him. He's had injury problems in the past and from what I've heard has a few offers from clubs who should be able to offer far more than we can. I'd be very surprised if he signed for us. At 28, with his history, you wouldn't grudge the guy for maximising what he can get.

Maybe he wants to play for Murray as he wouldn’t know what he’ll get in terms of playing at other clubs and managers etc where he knows what he’ll get with Murray

and if the rumoured clubs he been linked with are true why would he stay in a league below and not try move up one that’s just how I see tbh

Spoke to a Dylan Easton the other Day (Friday)… he told me Murray was told the raith job was his if he wanted it. He also said that Falkirk, pars and Raith have declared an interest in signing him… but hinted that he will be following Murray to Raith.

Would be a quality signing if True, Dylan Easton looks a good player and Murray can probably get the best out of him

Nothing to suggest that so far, but that's not to say it hasn't happened.  Mcglynn made a big thing about being completely full time last season but obviously he's away...

We’re still full time as far as I’m aware and the club hasn’t said anything different unless when Murray comes in he’ll go hybrid system

I think that's a strong appointment and my first choice. However i think its one that will need a wee bit of patience while he sorts through the squad and settles in.

I imagine he will bring in his own back room team which might leave a few question marks over Thomson and potentially Berra.

I think he’ll keep Robbie around as 2nd choice and possibly GK choice as what he’s contracted too and Berra will be signed as a player so no worry on that part

I rate Ethan Ross quite highly and agree out wide is where I'd play him too. He's got another year left on his contract I believe. If we can have a decent season next year and be hybrid I would like to see us tempt him back up North.

Transfermrkt says Dario is out of contract at the end of May. Might be misreading that.

Easton is superb, works back harder than many think. If he can decision make a bit better in the final third he'd move up another step again.

Ethan’s still got 2 years left (contracted until 2024) Dario has a year left (2023) so if one was likely to leave for a smaller fee it would be Dario

Unless Murray is planning on trying to play him (if he’s our manager next season) I’m not sure what difference it would make. DGW is on the books but doesn’t train or play for us. One way or the other we’ll need to pay him off. I highly doubt after everything that’s happened since January at Raith and Clyde any board or manager is dumb enough to try and field him in Scotland.  He’s either retiring or heading abroad.

Heard he wants to move abroad so there’s hardly any press and none of the reaction he got at us, but the problem  is finding someone to take him off us

Probably not alone in looking at / enquiring about Dylan but clearly with the Murray link you'd be strong favourites to secure him. Would do well alongside Stanton I reckon.

Is Ethan Ross playing centrally or wide for you? Will Zanatta extend or go elsewhere?

Ross has been played AM, LM and Striker for us but IMO he’s a better winger,

zanatta still has a year left but tbh if someone came in for him wouldn’t be opposed to letting him go,

but I would take Easton all day long would add more quality to what we already have

We’re close to appointing Murray and it’s Looking like Thomson is Dundee bound, I know you guys as in fans probably wanted both buts the case of who do you want now since both looked to be snapped up?

    Jack Ross.

Do you think Ross will drop 2 divisions and take the job? Apparently he wants to go back down south but that’s just rumours atm

He’s a talented player who deserves the step up.  Most of our team could be playing at Championship level, Frizzell among them.  Picked up a few awards at the end of the season - I’ve no doubt Murray would like to take 2 or 3 players with him to Fife.  Frizzell being one of them.  Think Easton will be there too

I would take Easton looks a real quality player but don’t know his contract situation at Airdrie so might be a bit difficult

Genuinely of the opinion Murray should just hurry up and go if he is going. It's potentially losing some of the players that bothers me more than the manager. One thing is for sure, he won't be given the time and patience he had here.

If think he will get time at us, if the fans and board etc all pull in the same direction, they’ve probably looked at him what he’s done at Airdrie and think he could do that with us
