  1. Was at The Garage gig on Wednesday, attached the setlist. Did start with Creeping Death and none of Catharsis. Unsure if the setlist will be the same though, due to the nature of the gigs. I know they have to co-ordinate lighting cues and everything, but the Electric Happy Hour shows they've done online are all just messing about and playing what they feel like. I'm sure at one point Robb said "Have we played anything from...?" and Matt suggested the next track. (Think it was Desire To Fire). I'm still buzzing tbh cause I stuck around and met them for the first time afterwards (and still had time to get the last train!). Also, they did have a tshirt with just the Scottish dates and a Saltire on the back but they only had small sizes by the time I got to merch after the gig. It's ok in length, but not very wide.
  2. I'll admit I wasn't set on Moult's return... till about half 10 last night. f**k it, all aboard the hype train now! Unreasonably optimistic for tomorrow/this season now.
  3. 11.25pm. I assume that either the media team are doing a fancy LotR Return Of The King announcement video for Moult... or he's just no coming. I also assume Snodgrass' agent is trying to convince Flow that Motherwell was always his first choice and he just mysteriously ran out of pens for a week, which is why the signing's so late. Meanwhile Robert is trying to convince his Mrs that ML1 is ok now that we have a Tim Hortons.
  4. INFO : Bahamboula sent off today Kenny Miller : How am I pronouncing...?! Michael Stewart : His shirt says Moyo on the back Kenny Miller : Thank FECK for that!
  5. They're on the official's facebook comments. Because, as everyone knows, the media team have a final say in these matters.
  6. A clean sheet and some confidence into Mugabi and Sol? Worst things could probably will happen.
  7. With our defence we probably need to score more than one to get something. Thing is, after the manner of the Aberdeen game, there's a crazy belief that this squad might have that in them. One game against a team that even Alexander beat a few times, but that was a hell of a benchmark for Stevie. 2-1 to us, but happy with a point.
  8. Somehow just found out there was a music/gig thread on here... Anyway, this past week I've had Nekrogoblikon (Classic Grand), Combichrist (Cathouse) and Travis (Princes St Gardens). Next up is Machine Head at The Garage on the 31st, and another 10 booked between September-March.
  9. Confirmation, we are a massive team! Also a note, the odd game has been shown on BBC ALBA the last few seasons. Recently, the MFC v St Johnstone (again, cause we're massive). but others are too. Never seem to be any OF games though . Are they the Sky castoffs? Is there a separate less publicized deal? While I'm not assuming we can all speak Gaelic, and it's never/rarely live, the coverage is just the game with commentary. ie no interviews, pundits or faff. I tried googling but all it's giving me is their deal for the Women's league this season, nothing about the SPFL.
  10. I wasn't bothered too much about Barry Maguire, but when Cornelius came on at half-time it did take me a good 15-mins to work out who had been took off.
  11. Anyone here know who exactly it is that "lives inside a camel?" The Bois are not always at peak elocution, at least as much as my ears can make out. As far as the game goes, meh. Remember how people want a better style in a results driven business? Today seemed to be heading that way. Seemed a lot less highballs to space/no-one today. Dare I say it, we even strung some passes together on the ground!* Of course there were limitations; it's been a week, and the players are not suddenly Messi-in-disguise. But it was encouraging I thought at the time. At least, better than January-May. Still lost though. * 8hrs and 4 cans of lidl gin later, not watched the highlights/BBC ALBA showing back yet.
  12. I get that we're looking for goals from all areas. We'll need more than just big Kev's 10/11 (if he gets the same as last year) BUT can someone tell Goss that he's not the next Turnbull and maybe passing to a striker, or moving in the box to shoot might be a better option?
  13. KVV auditioning for the Bois new lyricist. Though he only knows one tune...
  14. Well my Tivo box is 79% full so an extra 4hrs a week not watching MoTD/Sportscene will help me catch up on trashy American dramas... Got a list of possible days out that I can take my wain on and get her off her laptop for a while. Also been working our way through her Disney Classic DVD's. Plus tickets for The Killers, Green Day and Red Hot Chili Peppers to look forward to. Also, isn't baseball just Professional Rounders? "A group of grown men getting together to reward the act of running around in a circle." And cricket? Kinda similar except they run up and down instead of a circle.
  15. Can I just suggest to anyone in green and white, that while the league is won, IF you let us win (and The Rangers beat Hearts) then it'd be 90 vs 89 points. Wouldn't that be funnier than a four point gap? Throw on your reserve team and say "Look at us getting beat by Motherwell, we don't care!" Can see the 'close but no cigars' twitter trolling now...
  16. Guys, I feel like I must apologize for our form from January*. I got a black hat with the badge on it for Christmas to replace my usual Trivium hat. Wore it for three months, until suddenly once I couldn't find it before a game. Wore my Trivium hat instead and what happened? We beat St Mirren 4-2. Been wearing the old hat since and we've went and won again. (we got beat by The Rangers too but I don't think headwear would've changed that). I am 100% convinced that that new hat was a jinx. I am renewing my season ticket, but I promise I will never wear that cursed cloth again. * I don't go to away games tho so don't blame me for that.
  17. 66% of our league wins in 2022 have come in the past 5 days. Who'd a thunk it? Big Victor's earned himself at least a 6-month extension with that tackle! Not a volley, sadly. 7/10 prophecy, should've put money on it.
  18. Are we 4-4-2? Or (from the mind that brought you Bevis-in-attack) is Slattery now part of the front 3?
  19. Was gonna give my mum the ST to take the wee yin on Sunday, instead I'll be taking her on the Saturday. I'm not sure which of us is losing out here. After the game, child is staying with her grandparents while I go to an empty in Edinburger way. Have to change trains Central/Queen St so the train from Motherwell to town full of bluenoses will be even better if we take something from them. We can draw them at their place so why not at FP?
  20. My wain's been asking me if she can get a picture with Sol after a game for 3 months. Finally we won so he came over and she got one. Efford was along doing the same thing a bit behind him. Seen Grimmy and Tierney signing stuff while training at half-time too. Nice guys Also, is it just me or do Sunday's hit different with 3-points?
  21. I did not see "Anywhere across the front 3" in that. Colour me surprised! Although, "steps needed toward becoming a first team player" looks like he'll be on the bench beside former teammate Tierney, for a while anyway. Less the boost we need now and more potential replacement for Roberts when his deal ends in summer?
  22. Seen on Facebook : Calling all Motherwell FC fans One of our own, Jamie Preston, sadly passed away recently at the very young age of 30 & to show his family some love & support from the folks in Claret & Amber, I would like to arrange for a minutes applause to take place on the 30th minute of the game MFC v SMFC game on the 2nd April 2022. Please share this far & wide to let it reach as many fans as possible. This lad was an absolute gem of a guy, and a huge MFC fan. Please help in raising the roof for him on the 30th minute! RIP Jamie Preston
  23. Funny how the longball we try and fail at seems to be the one that works against us. The two today, Hibs' second last week, all just a punt from the back over everyone. When it's Attack Vs Defence in training is that the ball that works, so that's what we do on matchdays? And the first time Carrol gives the ball to VanVeen's feet is the goal, yet the other 88 minutes it's a big yeet from the back. And we've got 5 subs instead of 3 now right? Is GA refusing to use them out of pure spite?
  24. He spent the next two minutes holding his neck. The same area he was holding during the second half of the Aberdeen cup game when he fell on his shoulder. There's no point discussing with you if you've not been watching it. The short of it is, your man Cleary is a c**t who suckerpunched KVV.
