  1. I agree but it'd be mainly "here's 10 mins on the other mold firm that didn't play today....OhAndSomeOtherTeamsPlayedTookthnksbye" But if you're looking for a montage of goals then you know the Monday night show exists?
  2. Someone mentioned Miller coming on yesterday so I looked at the bench and he was in full kit, but sitting down and looking at the ipad/clipboard. Five minutes later he was putting his training top back on and sitting in the back row. 5mins after that he actually came on. Really wish I knew what is deemed so important that players must be told in the last 2mins before they come on...that they've apparently not been told in the week or two beforehand?
  3. Think we started 'Well enough, but after ~10mins remembered that we'd just had a week off and got tired again. Thought we didn't deserve a point until we scored, now thinking that maybe it's just the St Mirren didn't deserve all 3 either. Davor ok, I thought. Gent good also, especially first half. Got moaned at for a pass going out in front of him which I personally couldn't blame him for because the last two sent his way were 5 yards behind him. Casey and Halliday repeatedly not seeing/not looking to see he was in space, rest of the team slack in passing too. Spittal playing like he's read his own press, constanty asking for the ball just to pass it straight back. +1 point away from 11th and Theo +1 goal more than Mandron. There have been worse days.
  4. After the last Ballz, I finished off the last of this vodka (possibly opened after my last post here but not added on cause I thought that was enough to be getting on with). Another present from the lil sis, but this time one that I had requested, kinda. My interest was piqued from an ad on facebook for Outer Space Vodka that came in a bottle shaped like an alien head, my sister got me this. As said before in this thread - I will always be impressed by shiny things.
  5. Was at a gig tonight, pre-drinks from my sister who got me these for my birthday, Buzzballz; pre-mixed cocktails. First was Lotta Colada Whilst at Audio I imbided in the familiar embrace of JD & Coke Then afterwards another of the Ballz, this time the turn of Strawberry 'Rita. Neither were spectacular or something especially to write home about. Available online or from a few shops in town, an Irish friend likes their Chili Mango flavour but not tried that one. Depending on price it might be the thing for elder teens to sneak into handbags and drink on the buses/trains without trying to sneak bottles or cans. Can't see much of a market beyond that I'm afraid.
  6. Yes the media are completely against Celtic. I may be a Motherwell fan but I can see this. Why, just the other night I saw a pundit on Sportscene talking without Peter Lawell's hand moving; the bias is absolutely incredible! Some of the guests even have tongues which aren't stained brown from being stuck up Brendan Rogers's arse! The media, the referees, every other fan, the clubs, the players, SFA, IFAB, PTA, CIA, SHB, PGA, all against the celts. Year after year and season after season I am always amazed at how those plucky little millionaire underdogs win trophies in the face of all this conspiracy, sectarianism and bias!!
  7. Nah, full credit goes to @Bully Wee Villa who mentioned the possibility a few pages ago. As a side note, loving the updated colours but the background image placing can take a bit of getting used to on the Motherwell one at least lol.
  8. Had an account for 2 years and this is how I learn you can change the theme. Was originally the default but is now very Motherwell-y!
  9. Lacuna Coil playing SWG3 on the 21st of October. Tickets on sale 10am on Friday (got mine on presale). Nothing against SWG3 as a venue itself, but I've been there about 8 times now and it has rained every time without fail. As one of the eedjits that turns up 3-4hrs before doors that's not ideal. Possibly the reason security get you to start queing at the box office now instead of beside that pink lamppost.
  10. I think VAR works better as an idea, which is why a lot of initial feedback/consultation may have been positive. If someone in a pub 10yrs ago said "Here, they've goat TV cameras at the fitba, wid it no be better if ye had somec**t double checking in case the ref missed something? Or mibbie change their mind from a different angle? Gie them a wee replay?" You'd probably nod your head and go "Aye, might be better." The real issue with both decisions that went against us, and many others I've seen since it's introduction, isn't VAR. It's the actual rules themselves. The club asking for clarification from refs, or perfectly good goals chopped off, or penalties given for sweet f**k all, or pundits and managers saying they don't know what is handball or not. That's not the fault of some cameras and the ref getting a replay, that's the newest handball update that's tried to be specific and fucked it up even worse. Reverse that update back a few generations and it would be a lot better. Downsides that we blame VAR for that's actually VAR's fault would be the 5 minute wait while they fart about with the checks, or the lines that decide someone can be offside by a toenail.
  11. Alternatively ; waking up with tired eyes and a general feeling of ugh... only to finally check the time and realise it's still stupid o clock in the morning and you've got 3+hrs left of sleep till your alarm, and you get back to sleep straight away.
  12. The way I see it going forward there are two options to ensure compliance with the handball rules. 1 - Strips are now straight jackets - can't hand the ball if your hands are tied up your back. 2 - Recruit players with this profile :
  13. At Bannerman's in Edinburgh for a gig. First off the standard JD&coke, (Pictured, 1 of 5) Sixthly, a blended whisky called Big Peat. Made by Douglas Laing & Co. bottled exclusively for the bar (though bottles available on their online store too). Very nice, very, very strong smell.
  14. Sunday service on trains and buses! Looking for travelling into Edinburger tomorrow night and of the 5 train stations I could reasonably get to on about 3 different lines, none have a direct service to or from the capital after 6pm ish. Feels like some horrible holdover from the puritanical religious past that should be yeeted into the sea.
  15. Seems they've tweaked the messaging on the video. Power of The Thread strikes again. Facebook
  16. They're playing SWG3, so maybe won't sell out too quickly. Plus with all the plethora of other gigs already announced for June, a few that would normally go could have other ones booked or awaiting funds like yourself.
  17. You've never fallen so hard right from the start And now you're giving it up to be something you're not It gets hard don't ever let go the pieces aren't pretend So if you're giving it up let's be something we'll mend So say it slow, tell me so I'm told I cannot be the one you know We're holding on with teeth and lips we've numbed And now we've reached the final low, alone
  18. Machine Head announced more Evening With tour dates, a Scottish one on 17th of June while they're in the UK for Download anyway. I already have the Foo Fighters that day. No gigs I want to go to so far in July or September but that's 6 in the last two weeks of June ffs!
  19. I don't know if this was the first top I got, I'm pretty sure I had a season ticket for a few years before then. I know I had a few random tshirts with the badge before it but maybe no actual tops, idk. Anyway, this is the first one I have photographic evidence of online, being taken to Fir Park and being presented with it on my birthday during lunchtime at school, February '99
  20. Checked this earlier just because I was bored. The win in 1997 was 5th of May, the bold Dan was practicing headers against his mothers internal organs. He wasn't born until October.
  21. This month I've got 10th March - Reveller and Webb at Bannerman's. (Not sure who either of them are but like their support act Jeanice Lee) 27th March - Electric Eel Shock at Audio.
  22. Rangers commentators somehow less biased than the Aberdeen ones a few weeks ago... that said their second guy has that "just woke up / heavy cold / junkie about to ask you for 50p for the bus" voice. Liam Kelly playing like... an actual goalkeeper. Credit where it's due, but he wouldn'tve made about 4 of those saves two months ago. If I had spare money I can see him getting a yellow for timewasting. Vale being very good, again. FEED THE BAIR
  23. Saw this being shared online - Oompa Loompa Interview "Tell me about that moment as the kids started coming in. Did you see the innocence leave their eyes?" Was other pictures being shared where she was interacting with kids and looked helpful as if she was trying. Definitely doubt she'll be paid anything for it either way.
  24. And you know this because whilst singing hip hip hooray to your child... the TV was on and you were paying attention to the BBC instead?
