  1. Did mine eyes deceive me or, in the first half, did Liam Kelly come off his line quickly, get to the ball first and not wipe out the opposition player? Surely must've been a problem with the stream or something...
  2. EU - Size 39 if one cannot infer meaning from contextual clues. Funnily enough, shortly after my original post I got a £10 pair of Asda con-verse which are now needing to be replaced 3 months later.
  3. If our last two appointments have been any indication it'll be Richard Foster...
  4. See if during the international break Ketts could do the exact opposite of what he did in the last one and get us back to playing the way we were before, that would be great. Some people think a new manager would play players in their right positions and get "back to basics" and we'd start to compete and maybe win/not gift a 2 goal headstart every game before trying. You know, the exact stuff Ketts did when he took over. I'm sure there's some irony in there somewhere or is it just the cyclical nature of Scottish Premiership managers?
  5. Another one with Green Day tickets... 2 days after Rammstein in Dublin. I can only apologise to my body and mind for what I put it through.
  6. Think Vincent has either just discovered existential nihilism or has just got the bad news that he's off work tomorrow and actually can go to Fir Park despite his best efforts. I know our defending might be bad to watch but surely the 2 goal headstart and 3 points will bring some joy to your Saturday.
  7. Was this at an away game? I can't remember who we were playing but it was away and they got a penalty quite close to the end and 2 of my dads mates headed for the stairs but my dad said to stay, it'd be saved. Not one for optimism, on this time he was right and it was saved. Anyway, Kelly seems good when the defense is good. When we go on a good run, Kelly makes some brilliants saves and looks as good as our media team would have us believe. When we're on a crap run and the defense is crap then Kelly is too. I don't mean he stops making the brilliant saves, it's like he's lost all confidence or desire and then the realatively simple saves go by him. 90% convinced our Captaincy Armband has been cursed since Las left.
  8. November I've got 8th - McFly 18th - Hot Milk 22nd - Waterparks
  9. Celtic suspend Green Brigade supporters group over 'serious issues' | Football News | Sky Sports Not sure if getting suspended by your own club is tinpot, or whether the club suspending that group is the complete opposite of tinpot.
  10. Ronald Regan is partly responsible for Ellen being cancelled. Star Trek helped elect Barack Obama.
  11. I'm in the 3rd row of this picture somewhere in front of Joe lol. nothing.nowhere were ok as a support and a lot better than when I saw them in 2017. Pvris I don't like in general for their insistence on pronouncing the letter V as an A, but also I think they're bland and they didn't play the one song I know by them FOB were excellent though and worth the 10hrs I waited outside.
  12. Also missing this one cause I'll be sitting outside the Hydro all day. Think I'd go with the same team @Desp posted. Mika on the bench for an impact sub if drawing at 80-mins but hopefully not needed. 2-0, County to have one ruled out by VAR.
  13. I miss mine! Phone cannot hold my collection all at once, and am I hell getting Spotify to play adverts over music I've already bought. Are the files on iTunes or on the iPod itself? And it depends on if you just want the files for backup or if you want them to be sorted nicely in a good format for other players, because Apple made it deliberately difficult.
  14. Personally not one for drinking alone in pubs. I prefer to hide my quiet alcoholism on my couch with a bottle of vodka...*ahem*. Best places I like are ones which suit my music; Solid Rock, Rufus T's or Bannerman's in Edinburgh. What would have been my local got set on fire earlier this year, I had never been in it in the 7 years I've lived here anyway. No idea what the nearest one is now, might actually be Club 100 beside Fir Park lol. First time in the Laurieston was last week when I used their premises for relief in the midst of queing for a gig at the Academy. Gig buddy says the guy is very friendly and always lets people in. If there is anything changed after it's sold I hope it's a wider toilet area. Shame it was cash only as I'dve loved to pay them back with a wee JD before heading back out in the rain. Worst ones? Any "trendy" aiming bar that tries to be a club without a dancefloor and plays crap DJ 'choooons', usually rammed with folk and a 20min wait to get noticed while there's a que 2 deep at the bar. Oh, and the wee pub my dad took me to on my 18th that he used to drink in and his dad used to drink in and looked and smelled like it.
  15. Smirnoff & coke in a Smirnoff glass, along with an appropriately seasonal cake from Mr Kipling. Finishing off what was left in this bottle, the next horror film on my list sounds completely dumb so this may be needed.
  16. Got my Fuerzone ticket for Dublin! Was worried as it didn't let me pick a section just "Best Seats" and luckily there was one. 100% think Ticketmaster lie about the que numbers tbh. Also had the other site that came up Eventim.De on my phone. TM took a minute or two but I was through their checkout and got the email confirmation before Eventim was half through their que animation. Also for anyone that had Blink tickets that's both of them been rescheduled (finally) to August next year. Was getting FOMO since they're doing the Englishland dates the now, but at least it's sorted now. TSSF still supporting.
  17. Yeah but flights to there are over 200 right now, plus whatever their hotels are. Think I'll stick to Dublin, then at least I know the language. Found a hotel that's only 120ish. Might even chance bus journeys and then don't need a passport lol.
  18. I heard they got in a lot of shit from the council the last time they played here (in the SECC) and got told they were barred from Scotland. Whether that's true or not idk. They're still on my list as one of the 9 bands I haven't seen that I want to. Wondering if I can talk my mum into babysitting long enough to make Dublin next year.
  19. I'm sure there is irony in me sitting in my house and yet unable to find a stream...
  20. ESPN NL on X: " Kevin van Veen schiet vrije trap snoeihard raak! #nacgro" / X (twitter.com)
  21. Tenacious D are touring in May again, playing the Hydro on the 9th. There was a presale access through their website or general sale is Friday I think. If they'd announced this earlier I could've saved money going down to London in June but hey I got to go to a new venue and some nice pictures of statues and a stupidly expensive building. Already got standing for next year, hopefully make barrier this time
  22. You've made this claim a few times. Exactly where were these checks? I walked just over half a mile from my house to Fir Park with no football colours on, passed Dalziel Drive that leads up to the away stand and the only police presence I saw before the game was at the John Hunter turnstiles. So unless they were standing up the hill and round the bend at the start of the concourse I am really confused as to where this band of ticket checking police people were? And to whomever it was that said celtic fans were kept inside afterwards - that's utter pish too. Plenty of them walking down Dalziel Drive to Windmillhill Street as I left. Maybe you weren't able to leave for 15mins because there were too many of you to leave on an ordinary timescale.
  23. Those examples are relatable but I always heard it being said after something slightly left field. "It's just one of they things, know what I mean?" No, I don't know what you mean. One of what things? This came up when I was very hungover the next morning at a friends party last year. We ended up putting the different variations together, including a weird inbreathing gasp contributed from somewhere in north/middle englishland. When you have started, it is very hard to stop ending every sentence with "...eh aye but ken like ah!"
  24. Whether they take an "allocated seat" or not* the amount of fans should be equal to the amount of seats. On Saturday you couldn't even see the stairwells. Given the Gimp Brigade's fondness for flares you'd think they'd allow their fellow unwashed the chance to escape if it goes wrong one day. * I mean sit on the seat, not literally take it and wave it over your head as at least one of them was doing.
