  1. Got an email from Trivium for a presale today. Current prices, including booking fees : GA : 58.70 Seats : 58.70 Seats : 53.45 Hot As Hell VIP (Best seat plus some merchandise thing...probably a lanyard or poster tbh) : 114.70 Hell Hole (Early entry and possibly some kind of middle of stage setup) : 197.70 Hell Hole + Meet And Greet : 276.70. The price is the same for either band. Unfortunately not one that includes both so you have to pick if you wanna splash the cash and meet them...
  2. Things do need to change and I presume this will be one of the things the newly elected members will be looking at. I'm just saying I can see why they haven't done it yet or may be cautious about it. The restarting was about myself and one or two others who've mentioned we made some contribution initially but have fell away. They do have our emails still. Spitballing here, could this somehow be tied into the ticket buying system?* Given it already has a secure log in and payment processing functionality? (He asks in reply to the Tennesseeian(?) whom I doubt buys many tickets to the home games...) *dower's ideas maybe free but mine is not. I will accept payment in donnor or chasni pies tho.
  3. The picture showed differences between six styles of spoon, but none of them were dessert spoons. I was wondering the difference between dessert spoons and tablespoons. Wikipedia gave me this; Serving spoon - tablespoon - dessert spoon - teaspoon. Measurement wise, 1 dessertspoon = 2 teaspoons We eat cake with the babyspoons, so I guess they're our dessert spoons.
  4. So what's the difference? Because none of the six spoons on your graphic are labelled as dessert spoons? For avoidance of doubt my spoons come in three sizes. Big spoon, wee spoon, and babyspoons which now get used the same as wee spoons but used to have childrens characters on the handle.
  5. Was at that one too, Skindred and Still Remains supported in February 2008! Que was far too long when we got there for me to be in the "Bullet" chant at the start though, was before my days of queing hours early. My friend said she saw me in one of the circlepits somewhere in the video but I could never make anyone out personally. Shook Mat's hand and got him to sign my ticket at the wee fence round the back afterwards. Happy days indeed!
  6. I got one of them the first season... don't think I've ever watched it lol. I'm sure they did have them for sale in the shop that season too. My own society experience was I signed my daughter up as a Junior Steel member when she was a few months old. Got a letter from Las, a scarf, membership card and aforementioned DVD that season. Think I might've went in and paid it once more about a year later but nothing since. Sometimes she gets birthday/christmas cards from the team, sometimes not. Sometimes I get WS emails, sometimes not. (Actually thinking more about this does make me believe it IS somehow different lists for contributing vs not-up-to-date. eg I've had general ones about new members and comms, but none of the recent voting ones.) Emailed in once a few years ago as I felt I was in a position to pay it again/pay anything owed and they kinda glossed over that, but made her a mascot (for the sometimes posted Aberdeen cup game on 21st September!). Tried again a year or two later and she was almost mascot again for the game that got called off that week due to lockdown starting... Someone mentioned email/prompts to up or restart contributions and tbh I see why the WS don't do that in the middle of a cost of living crisis, increased foodbank usage in Lanarkshire, and general shitshow at the price of everything the last 4 years. A prompt about upping a monthly DD is more likely to get someone to cancel it altogether than increase it these days,. I had ideas and questions but I'm sure others will have them or answer them, and maybe more for a WS meeting than here. This is too long already and apparently we have a game tomorrow... *checks fixture list* Nvm... So, uh, how about that paneer guys? Good stuff, eh?
  7. Protest The Hero and As I Lay Dying opening in 2006? I was at that one! Young enough that I started a few pits, and there was a very epic wall of death my friend was raging at cause she missed it.
  8. Bullet For My Valentine and Trivium announce a joint 20-Year album tour, playing The Poison and Ascendancy in full. January next year, Hydro the 28th. My little emo heart can barely take it! Also my June is Foo Fighters 17th, Rammstein 23rd, Green Day 25th then Killers 27th. Sure that's not the tinnitus? Started wearing protection last year to protect what little I have left.
  9. FWIW I was not at the AGM and not a board member/WS member and have no more information. But for my own google-fu I got Netflix CEO left to start his own company in January. No idea if that's a "documentary company" or why he'd have any connection/interest to us though. I do get the fear that "made his money in streaming" could be less running a channel/service and more "YouTuber/Twitch" fanny. New investment to come from Jake fucking Paul, kiosks only sell PRIME and every comms ends with "like and subscribe"
  10. Apparently there are two different functions for a rubber duck, depending on whether you are giving it to a small child or a computer programmer.
  11. I don't blame him specifically for the first two, but the third? Kelly does one of those "Wow That Shot Went In So Fast I Can Only Move My Head" headturns... and then has to turn his head back because the ball looked like it was in slow motion and he gets to watch it actually go in for real. It's like he thought it was going to be a rocket when actually he could've saved it if he had bothered to move. I've said before that I think Kettlewell will keep him in. Not out of some imagined Euro money but because he wants to show loyalty and faith to him and try and build his confidence, but hopefully with the next game coming so soon he can sell it as a needed rest. Even Klopp and Guardiola rest their goalies after midweek games so sit down Liam and chill. Or what's best - letting the Ox have a go, or being shown that confidence and letting Shankland put 6 by him?
  12. You almost accept that a "colour commentator" on a rival's stream is going to be biased towards them, even if that was one of the worst this season. But when paired with a full time well known commentator/journalist you'd expect Maclean to do better than confirming our sub as "Davor Lastname/longname" (I forget which), and getting Bair and Obika mixed up even though the camera then zoomed in and stayed on Obika. I hesitate to put a label, but this is at best either blindness / extreme laziness... Thank goodness for certain websites, because I really would've hated to have paid to listen to that utter shambles.
  13. Saw this being shared around. It's shite, and now demonstrably so. And baseball is just glorified rounders with a bit more standing around and hotdogs.
  14. Speaking to an Aberdeen fan the other day who advised me of their comparison for Neil Warnock: Griphook Remember when Ketts was unbeaten away from home? Pepperidge Farm remembers
  15. Every time someone posts "LET'S GOOOOOOOOO!" I refuse to see it as "let's go!" and instead choose to interpret it as "let's goo". Social media is much more amusing when you think half the folk are advocating for a return to primordial gloop, or making a strong case for everyone to turn into flubber... Don't kinkshame.
  16. Not drowning under a Champagne Supernova?* *serving suggestion of "In The Sky" at your own discretion
  17. Was at the barrier for this - back of my head would've been seen if that silhouetted dude was sitting down lol. Not too impressed with Mayday Parade but I kinda see why the people I was talking too liked them. State Champs were the much better supports for me. AirYel seened decent too. And Simple Plan just great as expected. On a somehow even more positive note I think I will have a ticket to The Warning in April through my que friends today!! I mentioned it was questionable before and someone told me not to tarry but alas, tarry I did and now I've decided I really wanna go it has sold out through official and even unofficial channels But a longhaired ginger I've spoke to today and at three gigs prior seems to have a connection to a spare ticket for me So fyi guys, turn up early, talk to peoples, make que friends and it could be beneficial in the future!
  18. idk. I get your point, yes in Any Other Team it's the keepers to take... BUT we have Kelly. You can't defend thinking your keeper will do all that you said when history and experience tells us that our No.1 will do none of that. People blame Spittal or Paton for Kelly's mistakes because everyone and their granny knew that Kelly wasn't gonna deal with it. Feed The Bair And He Will Score! Starve The Bair and there's not much he can do tbh. Why? Do you hate him so much to give him this curse??
  19. Every salvageable breath choked off in fear I am the last thing I'll ever expect from me SAFE when nobody is in your heart now TAKE everything you can get your hands on Save me, save me from this yearning yet again
  20. Ketts stuck by Theo when he was not scoring. Told him he believed in him, gave him all those warm fuzzy feelings that made him feel appreciated... and it worked. Sir Thelonius of Bair has repaid this faith by becoming a league scoring machine. Ketts is probably trying to do the same with Kells. Tell him he believes in him, give him all the love and support he needs. Only problem is, Liaminothy is not repaying this faith by becoming a goal stopping machine. You think his confidence looks shot now? How worse would he look being punted to the bench for a game or two?? I am not Ketts. I would drop him anyway. I am a harsh man. And I believe our captaincy is as cursed as our LB. Maybe even more so.
  21. Usually buy my Aunt a bottle of gin for xmas, and picked myself up one back in December, actually quite nice imo. I will forever be impressed by shiny things...
  22. "Sorry, why exactly have Motherwell won 5-0 at Fir Park yesterday?" - Greenock Morton's thread, probably.
  23. Never had a Shatin, but there is a takeaway in Bathgate I believe called Golden Swallow which treads the line between ornithological and wrong sounding. I also appreciate the simple pun of one I live nearby. Think I count as either a millenial, 90's kid (technically) or an elder emo depending on the subject. I have menu anxiety, or indecision paralysis, but I have even less money so I don't go to restaurants or order takeaways anyway.
  24. This month I got Simple Plan on the 10th and The Blackout on the 20th. Bury Tomorrow are playing the Barras in November, tickets bought yesterday.
  25. The gnome survives, but did get an expression of our collective feelings! PS : The M'Well gnome behind may be called either Cooper or Coyne, unsure which.
