Not only do we have much better players now, we also have a better team that is qualifying for international tournaments.
It's a great time to be a Scotland fan.
We’ve qualified for one major tournament since 1998. Hardly a “great period” in Scottish international history.

If that was the case the same would apply to Zinchenko.
Possibly. But it could be argued that KT is more familiar with the treatment room and the manager just prefers Zinchenco.
That can always change.
KT just needs a run of games to prove his worth

I don't disagree that it won't change whether he starts or not but is a concern of how much will we actually get out of him with 2 games in 5 days and what will his performance level be like.
In the recent games I have seen him play for Arsenal he has looked like a shell of the player he was but hopefully that's down to this inverted role not suiting him.
His current domestic manager may be influenced by his injury record.
He has unfortunately missed significant periods for someone so young.

Has to have been an Arsenal fan. Top trolling! Take a bow!

His lack of match fitness is now likely to be a major headache for Steve Clarke.
I don’t think that will cause Clarke an issue as long as KT is fit to start.

Some people on this thread would have certainly preferred if it didn't happen, and he had stayed on the bench and/or reserves.
Tough luck for them I guess.
Name and shame.
Unless it’s just your normal response for losing an argument.

St. Mirren fans have never had that dubious pleasure.
Is that true? I’m sure in the past we have been allocated part of the main stand as an option for those that prefer not to stand behind the goal on the benches.
Cappielow went downhill as an excellent away day when away fans were forced out of the cowshed.

Is there not an argument here that what is being rated here is the town/city (and the prevalence of decent pubs) rather than the actual ground?
I think what is being rated is the “away day experience”.
Some of the best away days involve some of the worst grounds in Scotland!
Take a bow Cappielow.

Subscribed because of this months ago. £11.99. It's what they want you to do of course and I hate myself for that but in all honesty it's worth it given the amount of hours I watch.
Get a VPN and subscribe as an Argentinian

Can I ask what any of this has to do with what I posted?
Probably OF whataboutery.
Unless he was asking you to mark the BB rendition Eurovision style against their IRA songs.
Who really knows what goes on in the heads of these twats.

To be fair, if the project had been managed properly, then we wouldn't really be mentioning it.
The club is much better of with Ralston than without it IMO.
I was referring to how much money is “invested” into the academy year after year and whether it is actually profitable.
I believe we have been forced to get rid of key academy staff over the last 12months as a result of the financial difficulties it may take us a while to recover as I’m aware some promising players have also left.
I like you agree that Ralston it is a good project to have and we need to continue the good work.
The only big star that has successfully come through the Ralston academy since it began is John McGinn.
I don’t think we can really claim Morgan or McLean as true academy graduates given the age they joined us.
Perhaps Ethan can progress where Kyle McAllister and Stevie Mallan faltered after leaving.
If only we could get a batch of young stars come through on Jim McLean length of contracts.

What has fucked us up, is the clusterfuck of an overspend at Ralston.
That’s raises an interesting question. How much is pumped into Ralston and what is the net result?

Real Madrid 1-1 Atletico Madrid
Madrid derby tonight at the Bernabau thanks to my Real supporting pal giving me his season ticket whilst out of town. Strange one for me as an Atleti fan in amongst the home fans restricting myself to an inner YASSS when Gimenez put them in front.
Good game all round - some ludicrous refereeing for Correa's sending off, a good performance by Atleti, just unfortunate they couldn't hold on. Good header from Alvaro for the equaliser tbf. The chants of CORRUPTION from the Real fans pretty bizarre too.
How were the pies?

Unfortunately finance dictated both Reid and Erhahon leaving. If either of them were still with us we'd be in a much stronger position.
And the reason we have financial issues is spending beyond our means on established players from our rivals who could not compete with what we were offering.
It is not a sustainable model imho.
Hopefully we can recoup some of the losses by achieving a top 6 finish but that might be detrimental depending on what bonuses are included in the players contracts.

Have St Mirren fans organised an away day to Killie or something? Giving them a real run for their money in the moaning b*****d stakes.

I particularly enjoy seeing Mark Thomas when he’s on tour.
Stand up with a conscience. Deals with some very difficult issues and can make you laugh and cry in the same performance.

We have certainly had some horrific kits down the years.
Just for more point and laugh effect we could have paired these shorts with this top. Throw in some weird stripey socks to complete the look.
Sold obviously from our Celtic branded shop.
Certain well known fans have been known to parade in this outfit at cup finals. Minus the hair.

I find it incredible Morten fans are complaining about the size of the crowd.
Given that Morten fans obviously must think they are a massive club then surely they should be carrying a large away following to boost the coffers of the little diddy clubs.
