At which point you'd have had people howling that a classic cup tie was overlooked for TV in favour of both the Old Firm and an easy option like Kilmarnock v Dumbarton.
The TV companies can't win.
I’d go back to days of Saturday night Sportscene and Sunday Scotsport!
Fcuk live TV fitba unless it’s cup finals!

Dons fans shafted again, given the Monday night slot away to Ayrshire. Voted with their feet, and good on them.
This game should have been played at 3pm on Saturday.
Dons fans would have been all over this game and it would easily have sold out.
Modern fitba is pish.

Is there any footage of Brophy’s penalty? His body language on his way back to the centre circle reeked of complete despair.
He is really suffering a confidence crisis at Saints.
There was a shot he took on Saturday that someone next to me thought it must have taken a deflection when it went out for a throw in.It was a throw correctly awarded to Dundee.
So sad to see. Would love to see him turn things around.

I'd reckon we will come away with about £250K all told. It's still an awful lot of money.
Wonder whether some of that will be used to help “offload” some players.
The odds on progressing are against us, but it’s the cup. Bring it on. COYS.

Two great second half goals by Shankland and Sibbick.
What made those goals even better was that they were scored at the Hearts end.
You just can’t beat seeing those limbs young and old celebrating at your rivals ground.
The last goal with 10men was fcuking sublime!
I watched a number of no score bores from the EPL over the weekend.
Those two goals would not have looked out of place if scored by top class players in that country.
I know people knock our game but it’s great but would be even better if the bigot brothers would just fcuk off and die.

Dundee matched St Mirren yesterday and played well. But I don't think anyone can honestly say that based on one game you are 'clearly as good' as a team in the top 6 of the Premiership.
We matched Hearts in our recent two games. No St Mirren fan would claim we are 'clearly as good' as them.
Eh? We’re currently 7th in the premiership.
7 points away from the playoff spot. Two poor teams yesterday. It was painful watching.
Dundee at least looked up for the game.
The support from St Mirren fans was poor yesterday both in numbers and vocal support.
I hope our outfield players all pitched in with a portion of their win bonus for Trevor Carson.
Is Brophy destined to never hit the back of the net in a Saints strip in Paisley?

How do digital tickets from Ticketmaster work? Can I have them open in the app before I go out, or do I need to open the app/website fresh when I'm ready to use it?
Forward the logon details and I’ll check for you.
Nah. Should be just like any digital ticket on your phone. Just have the barcode/qr available for scan at entry.
Go old school and print them out if that works for you.

They’ve just told us that Falkirk are leading League One as well.
Are Falkirk in the seaside leagues?
Surely not. This must be a mistake. I demand my TV license fee back.

A Morton fan celebrating a st mirren win?

Disappointed with the attendance today.
Given this is the last opportunity this season to win some silverware I’d have expected a bigger crowd from both teams.
Has the Scottish cup lost its appeal in recent years?0 -

In Scottish Football anyway. I watch a fair amount of football internationally (perfectly legally of course) and VAR is nothing like the clown show that it is here.
Absolutely!
Is there any other country in the world that would introduce it part way through a season?
Can it be explained why it is used at Parkhead today but not at for example St Mirren Park?
Is it just because one was live on TV?

Being a Celtic fan must be shite.
I’d rather eat my own shite than be a supporter of either of those two clubs.

We did. It was ridiculous what the club charged us for our 3 match package. I believe it was the maximum allowed by UEFA.
What was the price of those games?
I met some Liverpool supporters on the day of the game and they quoted me some eye watering sums for the away end.

Uncle Roy would need to dig deep for Brophy's wage and that would suit us.
Most likely that St Mirren would still be responsible for part of his salary moving forward to make the deal happen as that would suit all parties.

He's not talking about Motherwell though I don't think?
Yeah. I gathered that. It was meant to be a bit of humour rather than the endless conversation surrounding the bigot brothers.
Scottish fitba is not all about you two.

If anyone needs a gym routine that splits into 4 days a week then give me a message and I can send it on. It’s something I have used for the last few years. I also have lots of recipes that I can send which are also good. Happy to share.
Good luck to everyone
Perhaps be useful to post up links/images that you and others have found useful?
Personally I find it important to drink water throughout the day - especially first thing in the morning to flush the system and reset the body. If I remember to keep that simple habit and get regular walks I find my weight stabilises very quickly.
We often overlook the simple things around us that can make massive differences.
Good thread.

Dundee aren't the first club to pull this stunt though. There's a now Premiership club who never put their undersoil on when they were in the Seaside Leagues due to skintness
When were Motherwell last in the seaside leagues?
They had all manner of issues a few years back.
This was the pitch on a good day:

Could Hearts and Hibs not merge?
I’m surprised this has never been considered before.

There was no way anything good was going to come from Ederson playing that pass.
Carragher trying to suggest otherwise is a joke.
