  1. Projecting miles ahead I too have a hunch that Albion Rovers may finish bottom. Hoping for an EK v Cove playoff as that would be a cracker. Predicting EK going all the way resulting in just the one relegation, potentially saving Welfare - all’s well that ends well. Let’s just end the season now on this!
  2. To answer his question on the juniors, the winners of the East, West and North juniors plus Scottish junior cup winners get access to the big Scottish regardless of licensing.
  3. Official timeline is 12 weeks. Start was delayed a wee bit, so hoping for a run of good weather so the lads can get cracked on. Will the club have to play at another ground for a month or so?
  4. Great news that another club will be on board in a years time. Not sure about the tier 6 part, more likely to be tier 8.......or tier 7 at best if they opt to regionalise beyond the EOS Premier the following season.
  5. Bump - anyone know if there's been any progress with the new ground?
  6. Thanks for all your help with this, much appreciated.
  7. That’s a really good price - great value for what should prove to be a great league. Can season tickets be ordered over phone by card or have to be in person at ground. Checked website and it says to email enquiries but states email address is to be confirmed.
  8. Are they selling season tickets and if so how much?
  9. Conference D an interesting one - nice wee away days for Orkney in the Isle of Man, Federated State of Micronesia, and Armadale - the last of which voiced the most displeasure of joining the Scottish pyramid!
  10. I think I understand it. We're playing at home to Albania on a Tuesday night in Elgin and if we win we get to play Israel to qualify for the Confederation Cup. Is that it? Plus the winner of the Israel tie also becomes club 40 in next years EOS - in Conference A of course as it's the only one of the three conferences that our national team could possibly win!
  11. That would be a mouthwatering end to future seasons........sign me up!
  12. When you count up the figures there's actually only 38 clubs, plus I only count two clubs in Falkirk (Camelon and Dunipace) which would indicate there's maybe two clubs missing. If I've got my geography right, and that's a big IF, the missing 2 may be in East and West Lothians where I count 6 and 4 as opposed to 5 and 3. E - Preston, Ormiston, Dunbar, Musselburgh, Haddington and Tranent. W - Linlithgow, Bo'ness, Blackburn and Broxburn. Appreciate the breakdown as it makes for some interesting reading, and who knows, may increase yet in the next couple of days.
  13. To suggest Kelty will get found out in the LL is preposterous! Kelty, Spartans, and Cowdenbeath - if they come down, will be among the favourites to win the league! East Stirlingshire and BSC will be there or thereabouts too. I’d have liked Hutchie to pull the upset and go up but the truth is they were thoroughly outplayed over both legs. Yes, that may be partly due to the extra midweek games which can’t have helped, but as someone alluded to previously, even earlier in the season, Kelty’s victories were far more convincing against the other sides.
  14. Good game today and having taken in last two games Kelty are worthy champions. Hutchie will be back again next year as ever. Assuming they beat Threave, Kelty will be one of the favourites for the LL along with Spartans, maybe East Stirlingshire too, and dare I say it - Cowdenbeath. Much to look forward to next year already!
  15. If Kelty win Lowland League it would balance out as they would go up (assuming they beat Threave) and Hawick would go down. Cove going all the way would likely see Vale of Leithen drop into EOS too but depends on their final games as Dalbeattie could be the one who goes down. (To the SOS)
  16. I had the exact same thought process. I suspect 2 or 3 will be dropped as they know that Tynie are likely to have to do the same as some of them will be running on empty too.
  17. I’m tipping Hutchie to be on f*re this week - an Eternal Flame, if you will!
  18. As were the Egyptians, and their funny walk........well, so The Bangles tell me! Speaking of which, it’s now officially Manic Monday time!
  19. They’ve actually ringfenced £200 of that to build a state of the art wall for fans to pee behind. They’ve clearly missed a trick - could of got the Mexicans to pay for it!
  20. To join the ‘pyramid’, the aforementioned shits have to be triangular in order to comply with licensing legislation. Bad news further south as apparently Auchinlecks number twos are all cylindrical and as such they have no desire to join said pyramid.
  21. A real steely performance by LT today. That being said, 3 breathtaking saves from their keeper. Heres hoping Hutchie take care of business in midweek to set up a cracker next Sat! Great season in the EOS as per norm.
  22. Trying to convince my better half here there’s no eateries so we’re forced to go to KFC........you’re ruining my moment here lol! Kidding, good to know actually, much appreciated. Teahut it is.
