  1. Sorry mate, but the chuckies kick should be for those who base their constitutional position on one person’s tweets about an already devolved issue.
  2. Sounds like a nightmare! Wishing you all the best with the repairs. An Indian for Christmas Dinner sounds good though!
  3. Went out for Christmas Dinner as we commemorated the birth of our Lord and Saviour. Cracking food, but was tough with the weans.. probably just have it in the house next year. I was one of the designated drivers, but managed to have a few when we got home. All in all, a good day.
  4. 20 years.. not that far behind FollowFollow, which was where I started my message boarding career. Looking forward to celebrating next month's 20 year anniversary.
  5. If I ever have to visit somewhere in a town centre, then it'd usually be a Saturday morning Jacks. Say 10 or so.
  6. Town centres are a wasteland, and it's sad to see. With more online retail, large out-of-town shopping centres and retail parks available, there is simply no need for many to venture into a town centre. I avoid them like the plague these days tbh. One way systems, metered parking, folk spilling out pubs and groups of junkies don't exactly make it an attractive proposition.
  7. Been listening to a lot of Babyshambles and Libertines lately. Pete D is a genius.
  8. The voice of reason, amongst the hostility of the P&B angry mob. Playing the man, not a ball is generally the name of the game. Instead of discussing the issue at the hand in good faith, they see nothing wrong in labelling anyone daring to hold a socially conservative position, no matter how in step with public opinion it is. In touch with normal people they ain't.
  9. Scotland continues to go backwards. I actually have a lot of optimism that this will be stopped.
  10. I think it's a lot more complex than that WB. There is a legal route to asylum, and making a dangerous journey across choppy, freezing waters is not it.
  11. OK, I'm going to react to your nonsense. More fool me, perhaps. Chatting about politics with others in a civil manner, often with disagreements, is not trolling. It's actually perfectly normal. If you can't handle that, then the problem is with you and no one else.
  12. Looking forward to finally breaking the seal on the Arran 21 Y/O single malt on Christmas Eve as I play Santa. The perks of being a parent The tricky part will be to not dive back into the cabinet for more!
  13. I don't want people dying in lorries either. Of course stopping the boats will stop deaths, as people have died trying to cross the channel. It has been widely reported.
  14. Survey Report (yougov.com) Pretty clear the people don't want this.
  15. A genuine mistake. Red dot rescinded.
  16. Fantastic stuff. The quicker the treacherous route across the channel is disincentivised, the better.
  17. Nope, it's still because the question bore to relevance to what Vinny said.
  18. He's right, and he called it grim too. It's certainly not the same as you claimed, which was: "The implication that ‘who amongst us hasn’t been convicted of threatening a woman?!?!’ or similar acts."
  19. 1. A culture emerging where players put club loyalty (especially if they’re your boyhood heroes) above money. 2. Terracing being the norm. 3. Bigger goals. 4. A cap on replica kit prices. 5. The training of youngsters to focus on playing with smaller footballs to help with technical skills.
