  1. Billy Kirkwood, unless I'm being thick. Which is highly likely.
  2. This thread is the most entertaining in a while. We've had a man stuck on a train as the game was called off as soon as the doors shut, paper tickets seethe, a historical annual precipitation chart by month, drainage pipe loan requests, SEPA legality questions and of course, Ganja chips from the Phoenix. Who said Scottish Football is rubbish? (It was Derek Adams)
  3. Tony Watt's agent currently compiling a YouTube highlights video for the window opening. If a big team like, I don't know, Morecambe for example come in with a bid of say, a million pounds then we should reluctantly accept. Free Australian international "goalkeeper" just for enquiring.
  4. A square go seems the only sensible way to settle this web based difference of opinion
  5. Can't believe I'm getting involved, but can't avoid it. I support Dundee United. My wife supports Rangers. My eldest son is a United fan. My youngest likes Rangers. Are my Rangers supporting family bigots? No.
  6. Loads of the guys that block my view strongly resemble Susan Boyle wearing Adidas Samba's
  7. Tannadice response to the hot dog fiasco - "let them eat cake"
  8. If I could give this more than one greenie, I absolutely would.
  9. What's the story here please, it sounds more entertaining than an afternoon at Tannadice for the last decade?
  10. To make this a REAL goal fest, how about a gentleman's agreement to play the Aussie "goalkeeper" for a half each? Anybody????? It'd really put him in the shop window
  11. Unfortunately I discovered a thing called lager and it really is very moreish
  12. 100%. The other two would be what they call now a straight number 9. Cantona contributed to those goals often
  13. Would you not agree that Cantona brought more to the team? Cole in particular was an old school deadly poacher
  14. I've kind of forgotten in all the confusion by the way, what in the world does any of this have to do with terrible journalism and Tom English? It's been an entertaining afternoon.
  15. I get where you and AJF are coming from. A very, very good passer of the ball. The "Golden Generation" thing, that these guys had some sort of divine right to win a World Cup always felt like over hype
  16. I've done so much helmet bashing today I'm concerned for my eyesight thanks
  17. I watched David Narey play centre half for my team. I also watched Steven Pressley do the same. It's not rose tinted nostalgia to know that the former was a better footballer than the latter.
  18. Those vehicles are still there. Used for weddings, funerals and "boogie bus" prom night type events
  19. He was also good in the Oasis chap's video. Something Randomguy singularly fails to note. I'm going to tap out on this now as I'm supposed to be painting the shed and Mrs Meeker will not take kindly to the news I've spent my day discussing 1990s French footballers
  20. I think the fact that so many Manchester United fans that watched him every week name him as their favourite player of that time speaks volumes for just how good he was.
  21. I've a screenplay written a bit like All The President's Men where two intrepid journalists investigate the Dundee covid relegation email fiasco and subsequent cover up. I envisage the big guy from Two Doors Down/ Taggart to play Bill Leckie and the Spud from Trainspotting fellow as Jim Spence. Guy Ritchie is definitely in to direct if this gets the green light from Paramount.
