  1. Ah, so it was Oh Gavin Gallagher wedged into seven nations army. Nice.
  2. You must sit far left. Pretty sure that was Airdrie kids banging the drum. Arbroath fans were mainly old grumpy blokes likes us. Particularly the chap that was close to heart failure because Airdrie infiltrated their pie queue. Hope he’s ok.
  3. Not me sir. Enjoyed several pre game spoons ales with decent football fans. Evidently not the little p***ks that are spending their Saturday evening here. All the best old chap.
  4. Much venom for a “little nothing club”. Morton deserved the win. We were pish. Enjoy the celebrations. Another few hours before you need to load the dishwasher in Wetherspoons.
  5. I’m sure you would be welcome in the West End. Just don’t tweet about a square go. Some of the natives might not get the “joke”.
  6. Couldn’t make it today. So who played wide right? Hancock on left I guess.
  7. I’d been expecting us to stick with this formation since Raith (one of our best performances) but I think we need Ballantyne to make it work. It’s a tough shift for the wide positions and he has the quality and speed required, as does Megwa. After that, not so sure I like Jannie out there, and Hancock would likely be needed as left side of the 3. I don’t think we can have Fordyce, Rhys, ATS.. Manager, Assistant, Coach all on the park. One needs to be watching from the sideline. For me that would be Fordyce, as I think we need Rhys in the holding role if fit., particularly with other creative players still out.. and wasn’t Fordyce out for both Raith and Arbroath... I’ve seen the “send him back” comments (unfair imho) but if McGregor isn’t back this week I’d be ok with Josh getting a start. He was decent for the short time he was on on Saturday and we are short on speed in wide areas, and up front in general. Gall to start. 100% sure on that one. Any news on Telfer? Hopefully not another name on the injury list.. Cammy, Murray, Lewis...
  8. Terrible performance from Airdrie. Few key players out, but doesn’t excuse that display. Team selection questionable perhaps but there seemed to be a lack of energy all over the pitch first half. Gallagher should start before Todorov every week. Gal was our best player and he only played 30 minutes! Well done Pars but don’t be getting too carried away! We were mince!
  9. Can’t argue with the score. Taylor Sinclair turned too easily. Lacklustre indeed. Very poor. A Rhys rollicking in progress I would expect. Hopefully a better game 2nd half.
  10. I thought that was a really entertaining game of football. Well done to Rhys for changing shape and personnel. We have been too predictable of late. He got the tactics spot on, and had a fantastic game himself. The back 3 allowed Megwa and Ballantyne to have much more threat going forward, with Telfer and Frizzel also much more of an attacking presence. McMaster had some class touches. Every player put in a good shift. Brilliant goalkeeping at both ends. Raith also had some good chances so will happily take an away point against a genuine promotion candidate. I appreciated the Raith fans applauding Hancock off, and the announcer thanking us for our travels. A nice touch. All the best for the rest of the season! Hopefully our next two matches are as good!
  11. 3 please! Multiple defenders out for ICT it seems. 3rd position going into 2 very tough games would be nice. Happy with tonight’s results. Dundee Hibs showing why they are hot favourites, and a point apiece for 2 rival playoff hopefuls. Ready for early departure tomorrow. If there isn’t a good rendition of “you’re still a big skinny b*****d”, I’ll be mightily disappointed.
  12. The blame for todays shambles will rightly be directed to Rhys, but what’s our support all about these days? Nothing expect for a few lethargic “Airdrie Airdrie Airdrie”’s. We can accuse the team of being “pathetic”, but could say the same of ourselves. We do absolutely nothing to get them going. Anyway, I’m off to get hammered in Tutties.
  13. McCabe had a shocker. Perfectly illustrated the challenges of managing and playing. Deano should have started in the holding role. Aiken has been one of best players. I assume he has a knock, otherwise a questionable decision to leave him out.
  14. Fixture list out tomorrow! https://spfl.co.uk/news/fixtures-out-on-friday-49267 An August trip to Firhill or Ayr please!
  15. Really? I’d find it pretty embarrassing if Gal behaved like that. No class at all. Good luck to you in finding another wee twat for next year.
  16. Paton - Another fanny that can’t find his supporters. What was on his top anyway?
  17. The bookies still have Dunfermline as clear favourites for Sat. 11/10 Away win vs 2/1 home. One or two nights of partying shouldn’t affect them, with all week to recover.
  18. I wouldn’t count you out quite yet. Would expect you to win next week. Dunfermline will be favourites to win at Airdrie, which would set up a huge match the following week. Given the last game in Dumfries, that could go either way. Away win, then Airdrie would need to get a result against Edinburgh on the final day (remember it’s 3 wins for Edi so far this season) while you should easily dispose of Kelty at home. Not over yet!
  19. KK was certainly a problem for us in first half. My only concern was his inability to find his own fans to celebrate with. Maybe still suffering concussion from that light touch on the chest that caused the terrible head damage at the last match. Talented, but he’s a wee fanny.
