It might not be two accounts but there is certainly one who is constantly peddling shite.

That's it exactly. You can be all smug about it and you can claim you are technically allowed to do it but it's embarrassing if there was an agreement in place not to do so(which seems to be the case here). Not the way a club should be run and will do them more harm than good in the long term.

Congratulations to Beith. The best team I've seen in the league this season and again the most consistent. Well deserved winners. -
Fantastic game of football up until it went 5-3. Swung back and forth and a had a couple of cracking goals(both for Talbot, sadly). Expected we would kick on towards the end given Talbot's recent run of games but it wasn't to be.

Reported by who? If I'm wrong, I'm wrong but I'll wait and see it coming from a more reliable source than a guy on a forum who so very clearly has an axe to grind.

The capacity limit has been greatly increased this season so unsure what point you are trying to make with that? For actually going to watch a game of football it remains easily one of the best grounds. There is no debate to be had on that and it's a cast iron guarantee that attendances would drop significantly if the club moved to some new, soulless 'facility'. Season tickets went on sale today. The club were at a primary school open day last weekend promoting them. They also have good relations with a number of local businesses(local pub sponsoring the bus and hosting the pre/post game for the cup final, as a very recent example).

Newlandsfield is one of if not the best grounds with one of the best pitches in non-league football. Even hinting at being happy to lose that in favour of a plastic pitch and some unknown new location is madness. It being harder to compete with complete non-entitys such as Gartcairn and St Cadoc's should not come into the thinking when the alternative is to completely rip up the fabric of the club. You've mentioned that you want the club to work closer with the community previously and have done so again. it's as baffling a statement to me now as it was then. It's completely separate from the situation in reality. There is not a single doubt in my mind that you are being extremely disingenuous with all of this. If you have the clubs best interests at heart, why not become a member and try and be part of the positive change that you are supposedly so desperate to see? From my limited experience with a number of members of the committee over the years, each and every one of them put the club first in every decision they make. Time will tell if that's the same with yourself but I suspect I know the answer.

I suppose you personally are a complete neutral in all this and aren't trying to push some alternative agenda?

What a goal from Docco. Goal of the season contender. -

As long as the committees are sorted, eh? Sod the punters. Question - why do you direct away fans to cram in along one half of the pitch whilst the home half lies virtually unused? As somebody else has said, the experience of watching the game itself is as poor as the lack of facilities. -

I have no idea but if it is then I can only assume they have gotten around that by pointing to the leisure centre toilets and vending machines. -

All of that was missing. Toilets and a vending machine in the leisure centre. The guy there told us there was a cafe up the road but never bothered. -

Another good win for us today, particularly given the limited options available to the manager. I have time for every club at this level trying to make the best of what they have but I have to say, it is a disgrace that MTC Park is considered an acceptable venue to charge £8 to watch a game at. No toilets, no food and the capacity must be tiny(not helped by dedicating half of the touchline to the small volume of home fans). Overtakes New Tinto as the worst venue in the league and it's not even close. -
58 wins it from here, I reckon. Maybe not quite over the line but it would take something massively unexpected to prevent Beith making it two titles on the spin IMO.

Good on you. What if it's not true and you've spent two weeks arguing about it for no reason?
-
I literally cannot wait for next Thursday's update. Hopefully we'll still have a club, a ground and a cup final to look forward to by then.
-
I agree with this in theory but in practical terms, I don't think it really works. Teams aren't going to be happy sitting idle on Saturdays to allow free weeks for the cup competitions.

The Scottish Junior Cup Semi Finals

How many were at Beechwood on Friday? Sorry if already posted and I've missed it. -
All three of your posts have been cryptic shite like this. If you have something to share then go ahead and share instead of the weekly "guess what I know" attention seeking nonsense. Also - no club at this level is "an elite football business".

I get that - the congestion is far from ideal but I'm not sure it's going to lead to anything more serious than a lot of games in a short period of time.
