  1. Jesus, that's some signing. Absolutely glorious footballer.
  2. Apologies if its been covered but am I right in saying we know who we'll be home and away to in the league cup, just not sure on dates? Will Spartans be an away game?
  3. I think you can hear that Doolan is holding back a bit when he talks about his tactics which is interesting. Rarely heard a manager in Scotland talk in the way he does.
  4. Any ideas what offers he has on the table? Would be an ideal signing for us if we came up.
  5. Some of the posts in this thread should be read in the voice of any one of the "pundits" on Open All Mics.
  6. +1 for the informative response, -100 for the shite that is VAR.
  7. Appreciate it's a still and everything, but this to me shows at least some level of contact with the head and Akinyemi clearly does move his arm pretty quickly. I'm a lot more on the fence on the red than I was last night. At the very least you can sympathise with Steven although I always think in games like this the threshold should be a bit higher.
  8. It's absolutely never a red, disgraceful. Fair play to Thistle fan Richard Foster for calling it out.
  9. Red card totally changed the tie. Good luck next season, finishing second this yeae should be a good springboard for a real title push .
  10. Also rarely seen a player as happy to be subbed as the Ayr right back tonight. Good luck in your future endeavours.
  11. McKennie isn't fit to flip Billy's burgers. Gilmour starts tonight, Mac Allister dropped to the bench. steakandmalbec.com in uproar.
  12. Steven Lawless got a 2 game ban for betting on 500 odd games. Trippier was given 10 games for notifying people of his impending move so that they could put money on it. Unless Toney has been betting against his own team at any point, this ban is absolutely ludicrous and shameful. Trippier's behaviour is essentially what landed Kane Hester in court this year.
  13. Against us in the first leg presumably, a totally innocuous challenge (and one that would have been avoided entirely if Kevin Clancy was a bit more on the ball).
  14. Would pretty much agree with every word of this. Sneddon is a better goalkeeper than Mitchell by a distance but is unlikely to come back in now. Only thing I would say is that I think Ayr have been better than anyone in the league at stifling our attacking flair, they're the only team in the league that we've not had a prolonged spell of dominating in any of our games this season. Have the fear that they have our number in that regard but we've built a nice bit of momentum after a slightly slow end to the season.
  15. Neither of us are going up. Suggest we form a superclub and relegate Killie.
