I disagree with majority of your post but the part that is quoted I am also keen to understand. The trust hadn't set a date for the vote, is this because legal checks were ongoing? Is it because people were on holiday? Is it something else? I'm not blaming the trust but I am keen to know whether a vote was intended, whether a date had been set or whether they had delayed it for X reasons?

It's now staying with Edusport for the coming season I believe so it's as you were. I got a telling off by the club for posting on here so I'll respect their wishes and not post anymore about the ins and outs of the club business on this forum

Glasgow United won the vote against FC United so they will definitely be going ahead with that name assuming no issues with the amateur team 'United Glasgow' (who actually themselves run a really good system where they open themselves to all players - refugees, gay players, immigrants, school leavers, homeless etc and seem to run quite a good community club) Also they won't be playing Annan much longer I believe. They are in 'advanced talks' to develop an existing site at Strathclyde Park which I assume they hope to move to at the end of 18/19

So Glasgow United FC won the vote and looked set to be the new name for the club. However.....There has been a couple of issues -Firstly backlash from members about having Glasgow in the name and how that will go against the club and create animosity from other supporters etc. And secondly there is an amateur team called United Glasgow so it appears there could be some problems with that. So they have decided to do another vote on a final final team name of either: Glasgow United FC or FC United Given that FC United wasn't on any of the previous lists of names to vote for and it's weirdly been shoehorned into a final vote is weird and that's before you get into the the fact there is already an FC United (of Manchester) and although they technically wouldn't have same name, and probably ok given seperate FA's anyway - it still a strange move given FCUM often drop the UM and referred to as just FC United. The guy in charge of the club basically came out and said "I have the power to veto any fans vote, it's in the terms and conditions - so we are having a revote"

For anyone interested Edusport will be changing their team name for next season. It's down to members to vote for either: Glasgow Utd FC Alliance FC Caledonian Crusaders Belive it or not Strathletico FC almost made that final 3 shortlist

Athletico aren't even the biggest team in their city, what a pointless move that would be. Would be like signing for Cove Rangers instead of Aberdeen

That thing at the end of raw was one of the worst things I have ever watched in 30 years of wrestling. I didn't watch any of the TNA stuff. I'm assuming alot is homage to that. As a wwe only viewer they did a piss poor job of explaining wtf the character is about or what is going on. It wasn't funny, entertaining or interesting.
