What are peoples thoughts on Sansa? I hated her to begin with but im still to warm to her character despite all the shit the character has gone through. I can't work out whether the actress is doing a really good job or a really bad one.

I reckon Varys could be a Targareyen Daenerys, her brother Viserys, her dad? Aerys? Varys - he does sound like a Targareyen. Plus it was him that was so interested in keeping tabs on Dany and set up spies etc. Could he have had long blonde hair before he went bald? What do we know about his background other than he got his knob chopped off? TV stuff only please, don't want book spoilers. I'm trying to rack my brain for what the show has told us about his past

We didn't see Pod in the final scene with Brienne and Stannis so I guess when she lifts her sword to strike, Pod could grab it or push her to the side etc. No idea what his reasoning would be but im not sold on Stannis dying. If he were to be killed why wouldn't they just show it? Why cut away at that point?

Also for book people - Is Gendry in them and does he just vanish on a boat in those as well?

Melissandre sacrificed Shireen to save the champion of light. I reckon that's Jon rather than Stannis. All that snow didn't melt as a sign for Stannis, it melt as a sign/way for Melissandre to get her arse back to the wall.

Overall I thought the season had 7 ok episodes and 3 great ones (the final 3). Even the 'ok' game of thrones are better than 90% of other stuff on TV.

It's been 2am all season. Simulcast with the US. True Detective will be the same when it starts. To be fair, it's the only way they will ever be able to reduce people torrenting shows. Given though that most people won't have been able to watch it until the Monday evening I'm probably in favour of spoilers until that airing. 95% of the time common sense on here regarding spoilers prevails

I'm hoping the show ends with the White Walkers vs The Dragons. I have convinced myself that Jon Snow and Tyrion are both Targaeryns. Especially since the last words of Tywin were "you are no son of mine" and he said back in season one "since I can't prove you aren't mine" There are 3 white walkers leaders on horses and 3 dragons. I can see the scene in my head: Dany, Tyrion and Jon Snow each on a dragon flying through the air to meet the White Walker army in a final epic battle! (I'm assuming since dragon glass and dragon steel (valyrian) both can kill walkers then Dragon fire prob can as well?)
