Bought my season ticket yesterday. No way am I missing any more games than I need to. Nobody is getting any younger and everyone has their number - number of games left that they will see in their lifetime. Not really that bothered at this stage what the team is like - it’s not last seasons team, so that in itself is an improvement. Seen too many brilliant pre-seasons to then witness a shambles of a league campaign. Genuinely looking forward to Hamilton, Partick and Killie - home and away. I’m buzzing for the season to start. Second jag in 2 weeks so timing is perfect. P.S. not a happy clapper - just been supporting this team long enough to have witnessed a few shambles

To be fair, he can want it taken down, and also believe in the sentiment. He probably knew well before then that the there were players not exactly busting a gut to stay in the league. And the sight of the banner was maybe just going to add fuel to their already lazy fire. Who knows…

Or, they realise that they are no longer best suited at Ayr and have gone elsewhere. I would imagine it is a tough gig to convince the same players that they will not be in the same position as last season. And especially with fans back in - I think it shows you that some didn't actually have the stomach for it in the first place - as was clearly shown by some of the individual complete gutless performances last season

Would be nice to get close to the manky mob in terms of season ticket sales. Hopefully they will be announced today for sale. So many tasty games this coming season. Will certainly be my first one for a few seasons as opposed to just paying at the gate.

Ah, that Parker goal - I saw it from about the corner flag - it was like something out of a movie - time just stood still. It stands alongside Andy Walker’s chipped penalty against Killie as the best goal I have seen in the flesh.

There was f**k all between the teams in the league last season - It’s at the other end of the park ourselves and Morton were rank rotten - not defensively. Dundee were shite and all season their fans were calling for the manager to get sacked and they are now playing in the top flight. Grow a set, f**k what Morton fans say, and get behind McGinty FFS - he’s one of us now. Some of the shit on here is embarrassing. Who would want to come and play for us after a glint of what some of our support is like. If he turns out a dud, either he’ll get punted or hoppy will, but give them a fucking chance - it’s still May FFS!!!!!
