Don't think Holt will let them. Not entirely sure who's out of contract but I would imagine that Durnan, Telfer, Todd and Sammon will be away. Leitch, Mercer, Laverty and Francis as well if their deals are up or if we can move them on.

We are where we are. I've seen us a lot worse in the 50 odd years that I've supported my club, might yet see worse but I'm sure I'll see better in time. I'd hazard a guess that you've only been watching us in the relatively recent past and have been spoiled by cup finals and play offs. Aye, and since turning 19 he'd managed 5 in 37 before arriving in Fife. So, he's obviously just 'matured with his game coming on leaps and bounds' since last October! I'm not saying that Hamilton's a bad player, far from it, and I'd have been happy to see him at Falkirk in this window, based on what he's done at EF. To suggest though that we should have signed him at the start of this season based on what he's done since is crazy and, as usual, with the benefit of plenty of hindsight. You also claim as factual that Miller had no inside info on him. I'd be interested to know on what that claim's based on? For all you know we made an offer to get him here which the player, or Livingston turned down as they would prefer that he played at a higher level. I'm just speculating of course, certainly not basing it on fact.

M&M should have known he was going to score those goals for EF too and, as you say, there was obviously 'no reason' that we couldn't have signed him instead. Maybe the 15 goals in 71 appearances before he arrived in Methil put them off, who knows?

I don't disagree but, with all that's going on at the moment, I just don't think now is the time to consider managerial change. If, as you say, results don't improve then I think a change would have to be done but not right now.

Quite. I can't think why even the biggest critics of the managers would think it a good idea to sack them at this point in time? It's the perimeter wall so there wouldn't have been anything different there before, it'll just have been repaired. The toilets are indeed the 'Roddy Manley Toilets' and would have been built early 90's. I climbed those stairs at most home games rather than going round the front.

Of course it's cobblers. We did though have a side toward the end of last season and certainly in pre season this, that looked like it was gelling and played some excellent stuff, particularly against Raith. Something's gone wrong since as the players don't look like they're playing like a team and seem to have lost confidence and desire. That needs to be addressed but that's got to be the responsibility of the current incumbents. If we do get back playing this season then we've got a maximum of 16 games left. To sack them now when they've got us top would surely be folly?

What is a steady job in football though? I'm sure you're right about the nod to the jobs becoming permanent but that would have been based on them getting us promoted I would think. When Covid arrived they had the team in a better position than McKinnon and I do think that we would have overtaken Raith. The BOD probably thought the same and would have expected us to kick on this season and we played so good stuff pre season. Since then it hasn't happened for us in terms of performance if not results so, if performances don't pick up, I think Holt may act even if we do get promoted.
