Alston was always a player who played on the edge of a game in as much as he was never the main man. I always thought that he didn't like responsibility and that doesn't seem to have changed. Having said that, I did think that he would have strolled this league.

I was so disinterested that I decided not to buy the stream. I logged on to the BBC at 7.30 to see what time it started at just in time to see Rudden quoted as the first scorer. Had no idea that it started at 7!

Morrison has a clause saying he can leave if we don't go up. He can leave then and I really wouldn't be bothered TBH. I think we may well be finished as a club if we don't go up, at least in our present guise. I can see us going part-time which would be an absolute disaster.

I don't mean he cannae run fast, I mean that he slows the play down by usually taking too many touches, 2 where 1 would do, 3 when 2 etc. IMO there's no point in trying to contain Thistle, we need to go at them and I think Miller shows a bit more urgency.

I wouldn't play Gomis at all. For me, he slows the play down far too much and is usually worth a booking or sending off in most games. We obviously need to win so we need to go out with the mindset that we are capable of doing so. If we take the field thinking that we're going to get beat, then that's exactly what'll happen. If Durnan's available I'd play him and Neilson in the middle as I think McLelland will struggle with Graham. That obviously means that Mercer would need to play which is not ideal, but needs must! Mutch Mercer, Neilson, Durnan, Kelly Miller Morrison, Alston, Fotheringham Samon, Keena Having said that, Fotheringham hasn't really shown anything so I'd maybe even be tempted to start Laverty!!

McLelland is 19, Neilson, who is the better of the two IMO, will be 18 next month.

That's hard to say really. I thought there was a reaction from the players on Saturday; if we could get that again with the added boost of getting those 3 in the team, then you never know!

Nah, we need this to be a draw because we'd win the league outright if we won our remaining games. A Cove win means that they could pip us on GD if they also win their remaining games. Edited to say that we would also like a mass brawl as the teams go down the tunnel after full time resulting in umpteen players from each team getting red cards.

For some reason I read this to the tune of 'My favourite things' from the sound of music which is really ironic because they're 4 of my least favourite players.

There was definite reaction from the players though, we actually looked quite capable for most of the 1st half with the game and our performance/confidence swinging on their 1st goal. When I think about it, Neilson was ok and I thought Kelly did quite well considering he's been out for so long and was breathing out of his arse after about 20 minutes! If Holt can keep the spirit up then I think we'd have a chance in the play-offs if we could get the injured players back.
