  1. There's been one fuckin post on the Morton thread since last Wednesday! Don't know how many times Morton posters have posted in here since then but it's a hell of a lot more than one! Thankfully they couldn't care less about us though!
  2. As others have said, if you play him as a LWB you'll absolutely love him. Good pace, strength, skill and a good crosser of the ball. Got a decent shot on him too. Not so good at full back, although I don't think his defending is as bad as some have made out. He's OK in a one to one situation when somebody's trying to get past him, not afraid of a tackle and tends to win most of those situations I would say. His positional sense is lacking though and he sometimes panics a wee bit in tight situations which led to us losing a couple of goals last season due to him hitting the ball across his own box. I do think the deficiencies could be coached out of him though. I think he would have torn L1 apart as a wing back and was really the only player that we lost that I was bothered about losing TBH.
  3. Do you know what? Virginton is an obnoxious, self-important, egotistical, abusive, hateful, bigmassivecock of a person. Furthermore, I don't like him. You though are just sad. Away and haunt somewhere else.
  4. Nobody on the Morton thread for 22 hours and these creeps are crawling all over ours! As per.
  5. I prefer a bit of symmetry TBH, in the home strip anyway. Navy tops, white shorts, navy socks with maybe some red piping throughout. Away strip could be a bit more jazzy. Maybe red & white stripes or something like that.
  6. Box Office Bairns presumably? And less of the duffer if you don't mind!
  7. Look, I get the B.O.B thing, I really do, but please stop using it as it immediately makes me think of Burton Ofucking Brien! Many thanks.
  8. He's likely to play a 4-2-3-1 which would mean that he'd have to replace McShane if he left. From that list I would think McLean would be on the bench initially.
  9. At this point there's no guarantee that we're entering L1 never mind the reserve league!
  10. Yea, I think the likes of Buchanan, Dixon, McLean, Connolly, McShane & Durnan (if he comes) will form a solid core to a L1 side. Problem is, McKinnon stated that he wanted to sign players that could have a go at promotion to the Premier the season after and these guys are all signing 2 year deals! Although I'm happy enough with Dixon re-signing, I would have preferred him on the left of a back 3 with Tommy at LWB. I think he'd have torn this league to pieces, especially at home. Not overly fussed with McGhee leaving but would have preferred him to Durnan TBH.
  11. I predict that he'll disappear after asking for a beef curry!
  12. How many clear cut chances did he have though? It's not as if he was Dennon Lewis levels of shit, he would have buried that chance that Lewis ran away from for example. I think he would be good at doing the donkey work for a main striker and could improve with the right coaching.
  13. Wouldn't be surprised if one of them was Aaron Jarvis and I wouldn't be against him returning either. I thought he was starting to form a good partnership with Rudden toward the end of the season and I think he would do well in League 1. Plenty of future development potential too.
  14. Deadly serious. I think the guy's very talented and would link well with DKD if we'd managed to get him. Thought he had an excellent game when we played Ross County in the last match.
  15. I would have loved to have seen a Paton/DKD partnership in the middle next season, think they would have worked well together. Sadly doesn't look like it'll happen though.
  16. Kinda makes me think that he's going to go with a 4-3-3 and, with Connolly being a left winger, possibly means that Robson's away. Real shame as I personally prefer a 3-5-2 and think he would have been brilliant in that formation in this league.
  17. I think Lewis did at least try and had the odd good moment in the odd game. Haber on the other hand didn't try a leg and did absolutely nothing of any note at any time that I can remember.
  18. 2 year plan. Building for the Premiership... That's the bit that concerns me a wee bit TBH. Tidser is apparently potentially premier quality (although I never seemed to notice him too much against Morton) but not so sure about the other two. Wingers are notoriously bad at being brilliant for a few games or even a season then being absolutely pish for ages afterward. Thinking of the likes of Bobby Barr, Hippolyte, King, McMullan, Cardle, Longridge etc etc. There's loads of them. I suppose as good ballers then they're likely to be inconsistent types though? I'll certainly give all 3 the chance to prove that they're good enough to play for us though.
