  1. Thanks. Can you tell me where this can be found please? Cheers
  2. Can someone please point me in the direction of what this reporter has said? I've missed it.
  3. Russell because he is at least a full back/wing back. Ok, he'd be on the wrong side of the park but we'd have to hope that he is maybe semi competent with his right foot. We've seen a few players over the years that have played right back despite being left footed and vice versa. McGhee needs to play as a centre back because the Harrison/Dallison combo hasn't worked. I would also persist with a back 3. Yea, it hasn't looked good so far but, as far as I can remember, we haven't tried Muirhead, Harrison & McGhee together in there yet?
  4. If we've tapped him up, and it's a big if, then this doesn't sit too well with me. If McKinnon was at the stadium early in the week for something else though then it's entirely plausible that he could have intimated his interest then and subsequently considered what he would do if that offer was to be made. If he'd already decided that he would move then, again, it's entirely plausible that the deal could be done within 6 hours of our approach to Morton. Don't suppose the real circumstances will ever be known though.
  5. Not sure about Kidd and Haber but I think the other 4 are all good players, add McGhee to that too. I also think that Harrison just lacks pace. For me, the jury's out on Lewis, Froxy and Sammut. Not impressed at all with Dallison, Owen-Evans, Brough, Petra, Mackin, Turner & Paton. I agree that the main issue is midfield. They don't take the pressure off the defence and don't create chances for the forwards either. I think this is the area that the new manager needs to address first, probably starting with the reinstatement of McKee.
  6. Lee would be a silly appointment. Player/assistant to McCall would be ok though. We could cancel Haber's loan and spend the money on a RB.
  7. My point is that we've already seen several players being played out of position with no success so I think playing a teenage LWB at RM would be a foolish thing to do.
  8. I heard yesterday that the scout is also the agent for many of these players. Surely that's got to be a conflict of interest if true? Would open up a few other questions too if that was indeed the case. I'm sure it'll be a lot of bollocks though.
  9. Just get so far to f**k. That would be a dreadful, backward move!
  10. You could say the same about Dundee though. Do you think there's no chance of you going down?
  11. It's the fuckin blue shorts that's doing it!
  12. I can see us going out of business if we go down! When we were seriously pish in the Brockville years and fell to the bottom division we could go part time and cut our cloth accordingly but how could we do that now with this big white elephant of a stadium to fund? Crowds have already started to decrease and would fall off a cliff if we got relegated. I never ever bought a ST when we were at Brockville, never entered my head but I've been dutifully buying one every year since the move. 3 games into the league season and I've already decided that I'm not getting one next year! What a fuckin state of affairs.
  13. Very true, we keep turning up game after game in decent numbers and we are being treated like mugs. I think the fans have already started to vote with their feet. 4026 there today but over 4500 v ICT and Queens had a healthy support with them. Wasn't at the Inverness game but I imagine that they didn't bring as many as QOS did? Only players who got any kind of pass marks for me today were Fasan (could he have done better with the 1st?), Russell and Greenwood. Was told today that Greenwood hasn't had a pre-season and that looked about right because he was tiring toward the end despite only playing 45 minutes. The defence looks dreadful with Dallison the worst for me. Midfield is lightweight; Paton needs to go and sit in the stand now because that's where he's going to spend most of the season anyway. I'd honestly play McKee ahead of him. Very disappointed with Irving today, was never in the game and TOE was like a headless chicken. I feel sorry for Dundee fans if they think Haber is their best striker and, although he tries his heart out, Lewis doesn't look to have much in the way of skill. If Hartley was to go tonight and we managed to get someone in who could make some more signings before the end of the window then we may have a chance. As it stands there's no chance of that happening and I think there's a very real possibility that we could finish bottom!! Dobbie BTW is some fucking footballer but I wish to feck that he'd give us a break!
  14. That'll be another player that won't be able to play for you then.
  15. I'm with you. I'm actually thinking about chucking the football on a Saturday and going for a wander around Grandsable Cemetery instead, surely to f**k I will be happier there. Come to Morrisons with me and we can play long shootie in the fruit & veg aisle.
  16. Jesus wept! I didn't say Sammut was good because he came from Chelsea youths FFS. You said he was shit, you also said Beadling was good; I'm merely trying to work out what you base this on. Incidentally, would I be right in assuming that you don't care where players come from as long as it's not within a 30 mile radius of Falkirk?
  17. One of my abiding memories of being a Falkirk fan was watching a friendly (or maybe SC tie) against RC when they were still in the Highland League. There was no terracing on the side of the pitch that we were standing at IIRC and two drunken Bairn's fans were simulating sex on the touchline. The linesman had to jump over them to get down the line.
