  1. Depends what you mean. He's possibly better suited to Sheerin's one up front game because his work rate is excellent and he annoys defenders all day long. On the other hand Keena is better at holding the ball up IMO and he's definitely a better penalty box finisher.
  2. I think Hetherington will be suspended soon which should allow us to have a better look at Krasniqi, however, with Williamson available I think it more likely that Sheerin will play Miller in the middle because he's a big fearty!
  3. No because he gets fouled. Lee Miller did exactly the same thing. See where the defender is, anticipate his move towards the ball and get yourself in a position where he's going to connect with you first. We got a penalty when he could see that the defender was going to clear the ball and had the sense to stick his foot to the ball letting the player kick him instead.
  4. Don't think the Forth's any luckier than any other river TBH
  5. Think he's maybe talking about Facebook or something?
  6. Keena wins the free kick 9 times out of ten though because he's good at suckering defenders.
  7. I thought that was Hetherington's best performance for us so far, he even put through a couple of very good passes, one of which can be seen on the highlights. To date though he hasn't been giving us the performances that would enable Telfer to get further forward which is why we've been calling for an untried Krasniqi to get in instead. Hopefully he may have turned a corner and we'll see some better stuff from him however, he must be due a suspension fairly soon as he seems to get booked every other game. I'm unsure if his original yellow card against Airdrie still stands or if that was spent when he served the suspension for the second yellow and therefore red in the same game?
  8. Well, show me the last time I pulled Shadwell up for anything, must be a while? Would certainly make a massive difference if he said something positive sometimes though and you may notice that I either make a positive comment or give him a greenie any time that he does. (Which isn't very often) When did I say that I thought that we'd turned things around?
  9. Another absolute stoater of a post. Stoater is a very underrated word but, in this context, it's a belter!
  10. I thought we played some excellent football at times today. Particularly liked the wee corner routine in the 1st half that set up McCann for his shot, pity we didn't score from that! The team were very determined and up for it right from the start, there were really no failures. Even McDaid was busting a gut to do well although he's one of those players who's good on the ball but doesn't really manage to create very much. Best for me were Telfer and Nesbitt who were head and shoulders above anyone else on the park. Telfer even got caught offside a couple of times; I'd much rather see him doing that than collecting the ball from the goalie at the edge of our box! I said on the way back that a game at Dumbarton was McKinnon's defining moment as our manager, here's hoping it's the same for Sheerin, but for different reasons obviously!
  11. Our rightful place is the Premiership and don't you forget it you Clackmannanshire, next door to Fife, tink!
  12. Not like you to put a dampener on things Shadwell.
  13. If Sheerin does what I tell him we'll win. He won't.
  14. Anyhoo, for some perverted reason I'm looking forward to the game on Saturday, probably because of the possibility of Morrison and Williamson making the team? With Williamson playing I'd defo play a back 3 with wing backs and Morrison up beside Keena. I know he's not a striker but he's the most strikery of our wingers and, as I've said often enough in the past, we need more of a presence in the box. I'd play Krasniqi too which would hopefully encourage Telfer to get up the park; so, with Nesbitt and Telfer creating and Williamson and McCann on the wings, we'd definitely create chances although I have an uneasy feeling that we're only going to see Williamson in cameo performances from time to time, such is his injury record.
  15. Well there's one that can't be criticised (Gordon Wright?). Whether that's because he's said a combined total of maybe 8 or 9 words over two presentations, I don't know?
  16. Can mind Charlie Lytwyn scored 3 goals, in one game too. Didn't make him a striker though. At Somerset IIRC?
  17. What the f**k's going on? When is all of this shit going to stop?
  18. I thought the big laddie Fox was excellent for QP at TFS however he's not been picked for the last few games. I think his last game was against Alloa where they lost 4 goals; wonder if he was culpable for any of them?
  19. Just seconds before his goal at at Clyde he was presented with a chance right in front of goal and totally fluffed his shot. Keena's no Ronaldo but I think he would have burst the net with that.
  20. I know I'm 'getting'? old but I'm sure there was a hand ball by a Falkirk player, think it may have been Hetherington, that wasn't penalised in the 1st half. I think his arm was at an angle to his body too. Nobody seemed to claim for it though so I'm probably talking pish!
  21. How many minutes have each of them played though?
