Now I can't get back to sleep going to start making the phone calls. Reina
Sorry exhausion kicking in 7lb4 baby girl delivered at 1.57 this morning. Lovely news, hope mother and baby doing well. It would be interesting to see statistics on how many inductions end in c-sections. I'm sure it must be quite a high percentage...

I'm sure it must be quite a high percentage... Inductions do lead to more medically assisted deliveries. Not sure percentages. Both mine were induced, one with forceps the other without.

Skyline Drifter
Wee man getting home in about an hour. Charmed the doctors so his mother offered to sell him to them! Catching up through the thread, congratulations to pck. The fun starts now. Thomas was induced due to low fluid levels. He ended up a normal delivery about 10 hours after the first dose of drugs and about 6 or 7 hours of established labour. Steven wasn't induced as such though mum was given something to help the process along after it started as it was taking much longer. He put in an appearance on a normal delivery after about 15 hours of labour.
