Homer Thompson
Is your due date also 11/11/11?! Thats cool Our first was born on the 17/5/5. We were hoping for her to come a couple of weeks early Wee man getting home in about an hour. Charmed the doctors so his mother offered to sell him to them! Catching up through the thread, congratulations to pck. The fun starts now. Thomas was induced due to low fluid levels. He ended up a normal delivery about 10 hours after the first dose of drugs and about 6 or 7 hours of established labour. Steven wasn't induced as such though mum was given something to help the process along after it started as it was taking much longer. He put in an appearance on a normal delivery after about 15 hours of labour. Good stuff It was more at Swarley unless Australia have introduced a different Calendar from us! When are you going to tell us why youre really here? edited to add - Congrats to PBK! Edited September 6, 2011 by Mr X
Shuggie_Murray7
Yeah, that didn't really help. I was sure he was talking about September! Unless you're planning to hold it in for an extra 6 weeks

RH33
So, off to the hospital tomorrow. I'm not leaving until I get a perscription for Neocate or the like, a dermatology and dietician referal. -
Ayrgirl
Progressing nicely I'll go for 1 15am I wasn't far off. Congratulations xx Do we have a name yet? Lovely news, hope mother and baby doing well. It would be interesting to see statistics on how many inductions end in c-sections. I'm sure it must be quite a high percentage... A high percentage do end up in medical deliveries. I would add in having an epidural to that as well though
pub car king
Well a wee update mother was takennto icu to monitor her kidneys as she wasn't peeing they have filled her with fluids and plates? She is doing better now and has begun to stabalise so all being well she can get back on the ward as she is currently separated from the baby who is being cared for by neonatal midwives. Baby is fine a little bit quiet but seems very alert and she gripped onto my pinky earlier with a mean grip. Over all it has been a bizarre two days I have had two hours sleep in about 40 hours and the whole c section thing is still on my mind a bit like a fuzzy drunken memory you would rather forget. Now as for a name we have gone for Imogen

Reina
A what? Well here's hoping the new formula helps. What a wee shame. A lot of kids grow out of milk allergies x
RH33
It's a formula made out of all the nutrients without the lactose I think.......Ayrgirl might know more. Chances are no matter how I fed she'd have developed it, think consultant was trying to make me feel better!
baillieinleeds
I never ever thought i'd be on this thread, but i've just found out that my lass is pregnant. Its still very early, she reckons 5 weeks. But i'm so happy and will keep you all updated :) . And no i won't be a grandad haha. Although i'm 41, i feel young and alive. My girlfriend is amazing :)
pub car king
Wife is doing much better still in icy just waiting in the kidneys getting up to speed baby has worked out that crying gets her nappy changed fed and randomly her hat taken on or off. I also had the extravagant luxury of a full nights sleep which was the best thing ever.

Ayrgirl
Suspected milk allergy. Onto a hydrolised formula. Wee soul. It's been a while Rowan Think it's not lactose free tbh. IIRC it's a formula where the protein is broken down into smaller parts which make it easier to digest.
