I've been a fan of his since first seeing him last season. He'd be a very good addition to our side.
djchapsticks
In more encouraging news for Livi fans who don't want him as a manager, it appears we are also talking to Kenny Miller today as well about signing on as a player.

Mpire
Whilst we have signed a few players (excluding keeping our own) only one htat I think has been an improvement is Sibbald - I'll be more than happy to be proved wrong but we need better quality to compete I think. And def at least 1 more striker (and give Jack Hamilton game time).
Whitburn Vale
Without doubt its gonna be a very tough season,we hav not the cash to compete at this level and the days of overspending beyond our means are gone. Just sit back and enjoy the best we can ladz, last season was bliss and unexpected, this is the prize, premiership football we never thought we would see for a long time!!

McG
Is ryan hardie injured at the minute? Sure it was him that walked past me at xscape lastnight wearing 1 of those protective boot things.

De Vita and Hardie were the casualties. Not sure how long he's out for but Hardie needed surgery and had the boot on for the play off games.
Rugster
I see you've apparently interviewed Kenny Miller and Gary Holt for the job.
LiviLion
Anyway, Halkett signing. We're winning the league this season.

If he scores a few goals and doesn't f**k up the atmosphere in the dressing room I could probably get with the idea of Miller, but I couldn't see it ending well. Gary Holt would be my first choice from the names that have been mentioned over the few weeks.

Holt not sure on to be honest, he was apparently a bit of a c**t around our club, pissed off a lot of staff etc, and certainly he fucked off at the first opportunity to return to Norwich.
Cptn Hooch
Yas the captain is staying!!! Great to carry over the solid defence from last season with the addition of a few backups. Good strong core to the team now. Striker is the next priority and maybe another keeper

thruthenight
Niiiice. Been a busy 24 hours for us: 1) Halkett resigning is outstanding. Only negative is that it's only a 1 year deal, but hey, the fact that he's signed at all is A+ business from the club. 2) Alexander retiring sucks. I wonder if there's been an incident in contract negotiations, he seemed very keen to keep going in interviews given just after promotion, and his farewell twitter speech didn't mention Livi at all. However it's gone, he's been a wonderful player for us, twice, and I wish him all the best. He's done some great charity work for Team Jak as well, he'll be missed. 3) Not sure I agree with all of the negativity around the potential hire of Kenny Miller. I'd rather him than Holt any day. We got where we are through work ethic and making the most of the talent we have, and that pretty much sums up KMs career. Holt has a slightly sketchy reputation from his Falkirk days, and while I'd be happy for him to come in, I don't see him as an infinitely better than KM candidate. Hey ho. Hopefully we'll hear more about a manager by the end of the week. Edited June 20, 2018 by thruthenight

Can't help but wonder if he's maybe picked up an injury somewhere and feels at his age he's maybe better going the coaching route...gutted to lose him as he was a big player for us but wish him well...maybe see him back at Livi again in a non playing role down the line.
EdinburghLivi
I think I'm correct in saying that our squad (with the exception of Maley) have had their futures sorted now?
