EdinburghLivi
Reading through the judgement, it looks like we hired Lionel Hutz. Embarrassing that you would get that level of criticism in what should have been (if true) fairly easy to prove with transactions accounted for. Particularly bad given there were apparently forensic accountants involved at one point. Doesn't bode well for the same firm defending a claim for monies owed against Neil Rankine (which will presumably be post 2015 Nixon judgement).

It's allegedly 6 figures he is suing for.

He’s left our case for Andrex.

LFC have asked the court for a diet of proof (where the court hears submissions from both sides and where cross examination of witnesses happens) because LFC believe Hogarth has defrauded them of a sum of money. LFC’s request to the court has made no sense to Hogarth, and more importantly, has absolutely scoobied Lord Braid, who has made no sense of our arguments. Lord Braid having considered matters has basically said to LFC “your request is word salad, but you may just have a case, go back and make it make sense, but for f**k sake dinnae bring it anywhere near my court”.
LIVIFOREVER
Couldn't be arsed reading it, pissed off with Livi and court cases, Livi just don't win them. Flynn never won a court case in his time as Livi owner, then sold the club to Massone and won the court case for the final payment of the nightclub that Massone tried to get his hands on, saying it was owed to Livi and not Flynn. Just couldn't make this shit up.

The legal fees will be into the hundreds of '000's for Livi and most likely they will have to also pay Hogarth's fee's as well. imagine if Martindale had that money in his player budget this season?

Hundreds of thousands might be pushing it. Either way, it may very well be the case that the club feel the need to raise a case against Blackwater. It's them who have made a sows ear of the pleadings, and that is pretty much unforgiveable. Re Hogarth's expenses, that will be another hearing at another date. Durnford
Surely Hogarth's expenses are only refundable if he'd been found innocent. By my reading this isn't the case.

ATLIS
Plenty jumping the gun here, nothing is owed by Livi (yet). Hogarth hasn't been found to be innocent yet either, it's essentially just a delay in the case due to the law firm's ineptitude
mozam76
I am left struggling to work out why we've had a one man band criminal law firm handling this.

ATLIS
2,000 free tickets for the Dundee home game being given away again. Good to see this initiative is being kept up, especially under new ownership

I think it's a great initiative to. Only if it's affordable though?
