Mik
What does NSFW stand for? Not Safe For Work... ie. Don't go into it when you're on a work PC because there's likely to be unsuitable content.

Swarley
Help! I seem to recall a Sean Connery quote in a film along the lines of "you drink Scotch, you eat Scotch, you can't be Scotch" in response to being called "Scotch". I've tried to Google this but can't find anything. Have I gone mad or is this a proper quote? If so what film was it in?
Adolfo Rios
Why are all crisps "best before" date a Saturday?
Breaking Decency
Why are all crisps "best before" date a Saturday? Googling returns: Sell by dates on Crisp packets end on a Saturday for the licencing trade. This is because normally dry stock rotation in pubs and clubs in on a Friday, therefore, sell by dates are on a Saturday to ensure sales up to and including stock rotation day.
Karpaty
Trying to think of the name of something I had out the Chinese once, it kinda looked like a steak pie crust but was spicey, possibly chicken? Was with fried rice. It isn't chicken curry, I know that

The Minertaur
Need ideas for what to dress up as for an 80's icon day at work tomorrow. I have no money either so needs to be something for free!
Monster
Cougar has the same engine as the ST24 Different torque set up and fewer valves. Handling isn't quite as good either. Plus it has a dodgy name. Ha!

Guest
Has anybody here been to Riga in Latvia, and if so what did you think of it? I'm going away for my 21st in late October with a group of people (7 guys, 4 girls) and the plan was to go there, but the reviews have been mixed to say the least. One one hand it's apparently very cheap and the local women are very attractive, plus they are total slags and throw themselves at British men, ding dong. Then again supposedly the local men are usually quite ugly (I know ) and are very angry that they can't get into any of the girls because they're only interested in richer Brits. People saying they got hit in the face is too common in peoples reviews. Reading things like "Latvians are dirty and degenerate, and that's some of their better qualities", is putting me off I must say. If anyone could shed some light on this, or suggest good alternatives I'd appreciate it. Edited August 15, 2010 by Guest
NotThePars
Anyone recommend or give any good links to similar websites as surfthechannel? The programme I wanted wasn't on there. Probably a bit late now but tvshack.cc is what I use Anyway, I wanted to ask: Does anyone know where this lyric "I do what I like and I like what I do" comes from? It's from a song I'm sure I've got on my iTunes but I can't for the life of me remember.
