Zen Archer (Raconteur)
How do you change your member title on here? I can't find the option anywhere. The only option is to f**k off.
RandomGuy.
How do you change your member title on here? I can't find the option anywhere. I, personally have no name for my member, although it has been called numerous things over the years. I'd certainly not be posting about it on an Internet forum though, these things are for the bedroom
Hedgecutter
Until Goldmember came out, I'd never heard of the term 'member' being used as this sort of reference. The film title was lost on me tbh. Is it actually a common term here or is it just an Americanism?

topcat(The most tip top)
Every year the date of easter changes, sometimes by several weeks. Why is this ? It happens on the full moon after the equinox. The Equinox is the 20th of March so if there was a full moon just after that then Easter will be early if there was a full moon just before the Equinox then Easter will be late Why they can't just celebrate on the Equinox like decent pagans I've no idea Edited April 2, 2013 by topcat(The most tip top)

Zanetti
Anyone know how much a taxi from Edinburgh Waverley to Edinburgh Airport would cost?
BarryHills
Anyone know how much a taxi from Edinburgh Waverley to Edinburgh Airport would cost? £15-17 would be my guess. Cheaper if you book with a private firm.

Smurph
What is the P&B breakdown for number of posts vs member title eg I'm on about 650 posts and I'm a 3rd division apprentice. You need 5,000 before you can change it.
topcat(The most tip top)
Get the airport bus, only about £5 return, and very regular This It doesn't have many stops so it's almost as fast as the cab would be. If you're coming into Edinburgh Waverley from the west then get off at Haymarket instead and get a taxi or the airport bus from there. If your train stops at Edinburgh Park or South Gyle then you could get off there but they're not on the bus route and call the taxi in advance because you can't just assume there will be cabs out there. If you're in no hurry at all then you could wait for a tram.
Christophe
Don't dispute the bus being the best option but to answer the original question, it'd be fifteen quid.
Hedgecutter
If somebody dropped a nuclear bomb on Glasgow's George Square, how far away would you need to be to avoid the resulting effects?
ffcsam
If somebody dropped a nuclear bomb on Glasgow's George Square, how far away would you need to be to avoid the resulting effects? As far away as Barry Hills hoose in Rural Perthshire imo
Ya Bezzer!
If somebody dropped a nuclear bomb on Glasgow's George Square, how far away would you need to be to avoid the resulting effects? The standard load of a Russian nuclear missile is a 25 megaton warhead. With a detonation point of George Square the entire city of Glasgow would instantly vaporized by the explosion. In the surrounding towns from Dumbarton to Motherwell and Kirkintilloch to East Kilbride almost all the buildings would be blown down, only the very sturdiest structures would survive. Bomb damage would radiate out for a further 250 miles where it would cause minor damage like blowing out windows, or blowing down chimneys. In the days following the explosion lethal radiation would spread out over an area of about 2,000 miles. Therefore if you wanted to be completely safe Cairo seems a good place to be. If you just wanted to be safe from the explosion Nottingham or the Shetlands would be the closest you'd want to get.
