Could you successfully challenge the inevitable fine or would you just be f***ed and out of pocket? Not happened to us yet but it's bound to happen eventually. Pretty sure if the ticket is not displayed at the time you will be liable for a penalty fine.Its the same if your road tax disc falls off your windscreen and is no longer visible But if you've got any kind of a case for an appeal then have a go. This was rather embarrassing for me at the weekend when I couldn't find it in the drinks section, asked the shop assistant if they had any at which point she pointed to Mount Sangs right behind me. Might be a bit of a jaunt for you and will only save you money if you're looking to purchase 100,000 bottles of the stuff, in which case I'm sure they'd deliver it to you direct. That said I've never had an interview internally for a job, so maybe that wouldn't be the done thing. Its always better to be overdressed than underdressed in a situation like that.
