Lisa Cuddy
How much is it to change address on a driving licence without the paper counterpart? Cost me £20 to replace my licence last year, so at least that if it's not gone up in price.

Lisa Cuddy
You can do it free online. Ah, so you can! I had to replace mine because it had expired. That's why it cost me £20. I had choice but to send it away.

Adam
Or the new bus link to the edinburgh airport from buchanan street and the tram from there to save going into town Is it near the airport? Nice one if so, those buses are always on the go from Buchanan Street! Aha !! Adam is obviously a bank w@nk, heading out to RBS HQ on some taxpayer funded jolly. For shame. Indeed I am not, I am a public service servant. Although I believe the do is at RBS. Free prawn sandwiches, yeeha!

Alba16
Not sure if this would belong in the technology forum, but using sky plus is there any way that I can start a pre recorded show at a point I want, rather than just at the start of a show. Cheers.
Pub Scarecrow
Aye. When it asks for "Start Position" then scroll sideways and one of the options should be "User Defined" (the others are "Start", "Last Viewed" and "End") , at that point key in the time in minutes that you want to go to.
Cardinal Richelieu
Just seen a news report talking about "Light Sweet Crude Oil". Okay, it's quite easy to measure the density / weight of the stuff, but its sweetness? Does some engineer have to dip his tongue into it and say "Yep, that's the sweet stuff" ?

Okay, it's quite easy to measure the density / weight of the stuff, but its sweetness? Does some engineer have to dip his tongue into it and say "Yep, that's the sweet stuff" ? It's in reference to the Sulphur content. A sweet crude oil will have relatively low sulphur content.

So does the absence of sulphur make something physically taste sweeter?
Mordecai
Cheers. So does the absence of sulphur make something physically taste sweeter? If it had a high sulphur content then it would be considered a sour crude...as for the taste I'd like to hope that no one actually knows what crude oil tastes like (with or without sulphur).

weirdcal
Cheers. So does the absence of sulphur make something physically taste sweeter? sulphur smells like rotten eggs if i remember my chemistry classes, if that's the case something with less sulphur would smell a lot sweeter than something hoaching with it
