G-FFC
Has anyone ever had a weekend no camping ticket for TITP but a different person has used the ticket for a day? Is it only camping tickets who get wristbands to get in and non camping people just use the ticket every day and get it scanned as they enter?
Widge
Anyone on here ever had a hip problem? Whilst I know that is pretty vague and without sounding presumptuous and stereotypical, it'll most likely be posters older than myself. I'll diverge a little and say it's just my right hip and recently it's been seizing up and hurting if I sit still for too long and especially in the morning. It was apparently clear this morning, I went for a run and it took about a mile before it stopped hurting and the feeling that it was out of place. So like I was saying, has anyone any experience of this sort of problem. I'd rather not go to the doctors about it, but then again its been getting worse. Thoughts?? Seems I'm in an ask P&B for advice mood today!

Widge
Going to the zoo today. Are the penguins still there? As in Edinburgh??? If so aye and they'll do their march and everything, so if you're quick you can sneak one out in your rucksack.
Florentine_Pogen
Going to the zoo today. Are the penguins still there? "Thanks to the zoological society's connection with the Salvesen family, some of the zoo's first animals were three King Penguins, arriving from South Georgia with a Christian Salvesen whaling expedition that docked in Leith in early 1914.[9] They were the first penguins to be seen anywhere in the world outside of the South Atlantic. The zoo successfully hatched the first ever captive King Penguin chick in 1919. Penguins continued to arrive with whaling ships for years afterwards. Today, King Penguins are perhaps the zoo's most famous animals.[2]" http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/History_of_Edinburgh_Zoo

Swarley
Flying abroad tomorrow. Only taking hand-held luggage. Will getting football boots through customs be an issue? Where you are going? Places like Australia can get a bit "arsey" about dirt and mud on shoes/boots.

Swarley
Going to Switzerland Check the website of whoever you are flying with, see what it says about restrictions on hand luggage. I doubt it'll mention football boots, but don't quote me as security drag you kicking and screaming down the corridor for the "rubber glove" technique.
