Nah, I think it was more a case of Hately not being happy with the size of the bribe.

Lisa Cuddy
How do you check how many times people have posted in a particular thread? Probably obvious but I'm having a brain fart. Exactly the same as before, click on the number of replies a thread has had.

Swampy
Does cheese give you heartburn? Any fatty food can give heartburn to those susceptible to it, so the short answer is yes.

Are you a few pounds over your ideal weight? Sometimes that can cause heartburn no matter what you eat.

Lisa Cuddy
A glass of milk works wonders for heart burn.
Swampy
A glass of milk works wonders for heart burn. Only on a symptomatic basis, and only temporarily. The fat and protein content will eventually make it worse as the stomach begins to produce acid to deal with them. Calcium carbonate (antacids) or suspensions such as Gaviscon work best.
Ayrgirl
What do you take for it - I have found that Asda own make tablets are the best for me but really think I should do something about it. Nothing normally. I don't like taking medicine. A glass of milk works wonders for heart burn. I hate milk with a passion so I know that my heartburn is really bad if I take a swig of milk Only on a symptomatic basis, and only temporarily. monkeyblair
Yes. Re: milk, it's only ever worked for me, never once has it come back or made it worse. I must just be lucky then. Should have been more specific in my question - what is reflux, is it treatable and will it go away?
