CALDERON
Id agree. Priority should be one attack minded midfielder, and two strikers.
Paco
FFP says Locke hoping to have talks with a couple of players over the next two or three days. Basically a rehash of every other article over the past four weeks. In other news Robertson and Barr are injured. Shock horror...

Of course, neither Johnston or Stewart have played since the Brechin game two weeks ago, and we aren't sure if M'voto will be cleared to play either. Could be fun tomorrow night....
CALDERON
Courier says Johnston and Stewart as well as Davo all back training. I saw Cove a few times last season, they were by far the best side in the Highland League. But they got the arse handed to them by Edinburgh City, a game where Joe Mbu was the standout player. Joe Mbu.

Joe Mbu. Aye, but I'm anticipating having to overcome the inevitable Mitch Megginson double.

Joe Mbu. Funnily enough, my flatmate went to that game and said that he felt they didn't even put up a fight and dropped key players. Speculated that it might just be down to them seeing the Highland League as being better for them. Good to hear Stewart and Johnston are back in training. It's a shame as we'd all hoped that Robertson could've been pretty influential with a full pre-season behind him but that's out the window now. Any word on Craig Barr from anyone? It can't happen 3 preseasons in a row surely?!

WOOFT, I say boy ...WOOFT What a roaster!! Laughed when I saw the well worn comments about the wee team!! However, I would expect the DAFC, with their big money to romp into at least a play off position. We managed it last season with limited resources, a great achievemen on our part. A team like Dunfermline who are HUGE apparently, as Raith are regularly reminded by DAFC support on here, should see anything less as failure really..

Ex Machina
Heard a rumour Falkingham is training with us. Not sure how I'd feel about bringing him in, I can't remember what he's like as player other than an absolute wind-up merchant.

MICMAC
Same story we've been hearing for weeks. Hopefully tie up a couple of forward players over the next couple of days.http://m.fifetoday.co.uk/sport/excitement-of-new-campaign-1-4176768

Can't see it happening given that he plays through the middle of the midfield. We've so many players there so can't see why we'd add to that.
