It was just a question. With McGlynn’s resources in the game he could have secured a guy like Lafferty, not a fuckin rapist.

I really don’t think you could have got Lafferty. I don’t think any club in this league other than Killie could have gotten him.

I think getting rid of Val McDermid as sponsor was actually a huge incentive to make the decision. Sim isn’t a fan..

You could put it a different way. Val and Sim don't like each other. It's not one way.

The line up mentioned a few posts ago. Five at the back does not work with who we have. Go back to the closest version of the team at the start of the season and start playing again.

I think McGlynn has lost the changing room in part due to mental tactics and folk out of position.

A lot of knives being sharpened for McGlynn on social media. If he goes, sooner or later, 2 questions;

• who is a likely contender for the job?
• who do you really want?

There is a load of dross available just now, best to wait until May.

There's absolutely nothing to be gained in McGlynn going before the end of the season.

For sure, the playoffs could be a pipedream in a fortnight's time but realistically, the season is just then a lame duck. Get the season finished, take stock in the close season & make a decision on who's manager next season then.

JMcG sacrificed on the alter of expediency to take a little heat off the BoD/Owner. Paul Smith to caretaker the job through seasons end, with an understanding that he and the CEO will be moving on, another sacrifice to reduce pressure, although that may not work. The Club to go with an under 40 manager in an attempt to appear forward looking, but if they don’t involve other parties in the search, will likely make a hash of this too.
