Dan Steele
Scallops from an Arbroath fish shop, some prawns. On chopped mushrooms, garlic, onion with a few grapes and a splash of wine. Should have had Stornoway black pudding instead of rice but none at butchers. The Chardonnay was excellent. As is the second bottle me and Mrs SL are just finishing.

bennett
Never heard of a polony either. Anyone know of a decent chippy style curry that you can buy or make?

Don't know what it is Hard to describe unless you've had red pudding, tbh. This is how it looks, slightly spiced is much better than original stuff. The Butcher The Baker in Dundee has the best stuff I've ever had, personally. I think they deliver. I did have red pudding during my brief spell in Aberdeen. It looks like chopped pork.

Pale batter is usually a sign it’ll be sloppy with next to no crunch and that’s possibly the palest batter I’ve ever seen. 6 minutes ago, Bairnardo said: What is polony? It’s fucking lovely that’s what it is! The railway carriage down by the Tay does a braw roll n polony.
Melanius Mullarkey
A proper red pudding is much spicier than polony. Whilst polony is decent, it’s no red pudding.
