pandarilla
Well, with Aberdeen City Council in charge, I wouldn't be too confident in dismissing that possibility just yet. I've seen 'the day after tomorrow'. I've been checking out books and policy documents that I'm going to burn to stay alive.

Musketeer Gripweed
At least they will have enough salt left seeing as they have been scared to use use in in case they run out, until now.
Cerberus
All the Scottish city councils are skint. Anything more than a light dusting of snow and the place falls apart. Scotland is a bad winter and 3 or 4 feet of snow away from total anarchy. The entire country would descend into something resembling The Purge. Fat neds turning feral in a desperate search for Buckie and munchy boxes.
Musketeer Gripweed
Not to mention the pot holes. It's the first winter EVER that the weather has caused them. The roads are shite now though, and this beast thing won't help.

invergowrie arab
I'll be heading to work whatever happens. Why should I pay for my own heating and coffee?
JamieThomas
I used to think the Scottish reaction to a couple of inches of snow was fairly pathetic. Now I've moved over here I basically wouldn't even spit on anyone complaining about it. You're slags and tarts, lads. Slags and tarts.

PB 4.2
Wednesday looks like a seahorse. Little known fact: Male Seahorses carry babies as told by the lovely plaque at Deep Sea World. Older readers will remember I used to stop off at DSW carpark to consume a micro-bottle of alcohol ( with mixer) before attempting the tricky North Edin commute. These days I just use a Garmin. Its a Sat Nav.
Hillonearth
I was on the phone to someone in East Anglia yesterday in work - they're in utter panic mode down there; all trains cancelled and making plans to work from home. After the winter we've had I was doing that slightly patronising thing Canadians do to us: "Yeah...we get it a lot, so we're more used to it...."
Granny Danger
There’s been a fall overnight in and around Dundee with supposedly more coming over the next two days. Roads not too bad but still slightly greasy, something being ignored by lot of drivers. -

Emiliano ZaBankie
It’s fucking Corbyn innit? He’s sold the train timetables of the English Shires to the Russians and Putin’s massed forces are waiting out there somewhere in the snow to invade when we’re at our weakest.
