What is it with people in Cornwall? Is it something in the water or the air? Normal social norms just don't appear to apply.

Going to have your dog put down? Why not turn it into a Twitter happening? #walkwithwalnut

Maybe I'm a bit of a softie but I did find the dog thing quite sad.

You weren't ill after the first one? I'm assuming you weren't since you've went and got another... f**k knows how it took two though. Utterly disgusting inventions.

Amen to that. Had one on Friday night during the Scotland game. What a horrible combination that ended up being. :thumbsdown

A few weeks ago I was asked by my colleague at the English teaching school I work at if I'd be interested in doing Weddings....

I now have all the robes, bible etc and just need to learn my lines before I can start pronouncing couples "man and wife"!

You'll be fine. I got married (possibly - wife's not convinced by the authenticity of it all) in Greece. The mayor turned up in his best flip flops and dirty clothes, pointed at my wife, nudged me a bit and said "You like? Hmm, nice, good, yes". A few handshakes, back slaps, smiles and thumbs-up gestures and that was it. Whole thing took about ten seconds.

There's a wee bit more to the job than that in this case tbh but you're right, I'll manage somehow.

Have also been asked to be Santa for the run up to Christmas!
