sjc
My excessive and continual need to fart and their quite literally breathtaking potency has left my house with such a "tang" that I suspect the merest of sparks could ignite the whole place.

JamieT1314
Just popped into the juniors forum for the first time. Deary me! The refereeing quality thread, it's like going back in time.
BallochSonsFan
Top tip. When nothing plugged into your 6-way bar adaptor is working and the surge protection light isn't on, why not stick your finger into the broken on/off switch and prod around to see if you can fix it. Cue flash, sparks, bang, a blackened finger and now very tingly arm...

Sweet Pete
Passed an interview yesterday which was my 2nd, only to be informed I have 4 more before potentially getting the job! Tell them to f**k off.I had a series of interviews for a national construction company a couple of years ago and when they announced that the next stage after that was several rounds of psychometric testing I told them to drop me out of the running. Maximum two interviews should be enough in my opinion, and that's certainly what I do when hiring staff. One to sound them out, one to work out the details / have the MD or whoever take a look at them.

I go to the last two for a job and drove to Tow Law, in the back of fucking beyond for final interview with the MD. I didn't know that there would be a pre interview psychometric test...Which on seeing, the MD decided not to see me. I've often wondered what the results showed. On the way out the guy escorting me to the door said "If it's any consolation, he didn't see the other guy either".

I'm not even convinced of what these tests can accurately tell a prospective employer. For example: you take the test and it says you are not the easiest to get along with, but all the other candidates who are more compliant are less skilled / qualified for the role, so what point was there in the test? Or like your experience, the tests suggest to the person reading the results that none of the applicants are suited, so you just don't hire anyone to fill the vacant role? Pointless nonsense.

It was with Banks Mining. Going around the country convincing gullible village idiots to have their environment destroyed by open cast mining, then leaving them a shitey swing park when they fill it in. Right up my street.

Central
It's a tech company so they do have a very modern and different outlook on things like interviewing. It's too good an opportunity to turn down or I would have told them to get fucked. Had to buy a webcam and all sorts!
Gordon EF
I had an interview for an analyst job with Tesco a few years back. 6 of us were there and they gave us a surprise IQ test before the interviews. After the test, they told 3 boys to just go away, including one who flew in from Milan for the interview. Why not do the fucking tests online? c***s.
Gordon EF
What was your IQ Gordon? It’s a joke they did that, companies have no consideration for how you get to the interview. They never said. They told me I scored the highest but still didn't give me the job. The interview questions seemed weirdly focussed on what I would do if I encountered work place bullying.
Gordon EF
Obviously "join in" wasn't the answer they were looking for.
