The wife and I were a tad nonplussed when we saw this on the back wall of a titty bar in Richmond

We were on our way to the Edgar Allen Poe museum by the way.

That looks like Brendan Rogers in drag

Or you're just not very observant?

Spoiler

I'd never noticed that either

There are loads of logos that have these type of "hidden" features that once pointed out you wonder how you'd never seen it before.

It’s Richmond’s biggest Edgar Allen Poe museum I understand…. I read that somewhere.

Made Tunnbrödsrulle for the first time. Swear TF thought it was a wind up.

Flat bread wrap with prawn salad & bunch of mad stuff.

Swedish are weird. (Decent commis chef though)

I just realised that the Fife Council logo wasn’t just the Forth Bridge, but people holding hands to symbolise it! I must have see the symbol multiple times a day for decades and never noticed, that surely means the design is poor rather than clever?

It's a play on this experiment showing how a cantilever bridge works.

Observations/questions:

1. Why does Fife think it has the right to use the Forth Bridge as its only in Fife for a relatively small portion? Edinburgh City should as it lands in their territory as well and its better than their shitey logo.

2. They've only used 2 cantilevers instead of 3 in their logo (as you say like the experiment, however the experiment is pre-bridge).

3. When will Transport Scotland get round to changing all the road signs on A90/M8/M9 to say Queensferry Crossing instead of Forth Road Bridge?

4. What am I having for my tea tonight?

Listen up concrete man, the sand used for the concrete and cement in the caissons were dredged from Pettycur bay, therefore, the foundations of the bridge belong to Kinghorn, in Fife.

On a side note, Inchkeith was in the parish boundary of Kinghorn.

For a wee town, it did some heavy lifting.

Fair enough with the Kinghorn connection. Didnt know that.

Hopefully no caravan owners were harmed in the manufacturing of the caissons.

The Clackmannanshire Bridge isn't in Clackmannanshire either. Lands in Fife.

I think they had a competition to name the Clackmannanshire Bridge.

Bridgey McBridgeface didn't win? Shocking.
