Smurph
Was at my dads during the weekend, and I asked him how his fridge had broken. He never knew, but when he was in Curries he was looking for a new one. He then said that the cheapest ones he could find were around the £300 mark, and he didn't want to pay that much for a new fridge. He then realised that he was looking at dishwashers. Written down that might not seem too funny, but when he said it I laughed heartily. Edited January 31, 2010 by Smurph
fraser_smfc
Yesterday in Edinburgh was the first time I was ID'd since turning 18 three weeks ago. Twice in the pub and once in the bookies. Speaking of which it was my first bet as well which of course my coupon didn't come anywhere close to winning. A good day out all in all apart from the result. After being in Dundee for 4 months now I haven't been ID'd once in a pub, it's only when I'm down in Glasgow or Edinburgh do they check. It got me thinking just how lax Dundee is with ID, has anyone else noticed this?

Guest The Phoenix
Your point is, caller? It's a song about three girls who share a house. No surprise you didn't know about it.
Bibby
It's a song about three girls who share a house. No surprise you didn't know about it. Funny you should say that, we had three very tasty girls in for a viewing at our flat Thursday or Friday. Needless to say that the Calvin Klein's were draped on the bed in a defiant act of male to female security and understanding. Now that's something I want to share with P&B.
Michael W
Whilst watching the music channels on Friday night, 'Pretty Green Eyes' by Ultrabeat came on. I can remember when that came out, I more or less considered the video to be porn. What a disappointment seeing it again was. Not even a nudge.
The Master
I've just discovered that "double-clicking" the home button on my iPhone brings up a handy window for controlling the iPod.

el Gringo
I've just discovered that "double-clicking" the home button on my iPhone brings up a handy window for controlling the iPod. Thanks for sharing that, I'd never have known! Only works when it's locked though, otherwise it takes you to your favourites.
The Master
Thanks for sharing that, I'd never have known! Only works when it's locked though, otherwise it takes you to your favourites. If you go into Settings -> General -> Home, you can configure it there. Turning iPod Controls on means that when music is playing, the double-click will always bring up the wee box (and when the wee box is open, a shake shuffles as normal). You can select a different function for when music isn't playing as well. Edited February 1, 2010 by The Master
gc_smfc
I spent over £200 on Champagne in Bamboo last night, i have numerous credit card receipts, i'm shaking, possibley still drunk. Normally this would equal EPIC FAIL .... But i just turned 20 today, and i told all the Waitrose folk, that i was gona party like it's my birthday and i did so. = EPIC FANTASTICNESS. I still have the taste and feeling of champagne in my mouth. I just thought everyone would like to know how cool i am, and that i'm hardcore.

gc_smfc
What Champagne was it? Moet i think. All i have is my credit card slips, and the bill when it comes. I should have got more people to buy me birthday drinks.

I assume about £45-£50 a bottle in a club?
