lichtie23
It's basic common courtesy to eat a meal that's given to you. Imagine going to someones house, being given a plateful of food and saying "I don't like that, I can't eat it." That's fucking rude, man. Or a typical day on Come done with me
jamamafegan
Can you imagine Deeboy and Jamaldo on Come Dine With Me? Dave Lamb would have a fucking field day.

Jamaldo
Come Dine With Me is one of the greatest TV shows ever. It would be an honour to appear on it and have the piss ripped out of me by Dave Lamb.

topcat(The most tip top)
Southern Indian cooking is much more varied and interesting. I agree with Jamaldo about most of the High Street curry houses, nearly all Bangladeshi and boringly similar, unless you get to places like Brick Lane or the "Curry Miles" of Manchester and Birmingham. Brick lane is both Bangladeshi and overrated (aside from the Jewish Bagel shops that survive at the top)

Jamaldo
Sticking with the cooking theme.....I've just made this: If there's one thing that really makes a dish it's one whole, unchopped tomato.
pandarilla
Force feeding yourself is being 'brought up well'? I'd call it having the manners to eat something that someone else has made for you. Its quite simple stuff really.
sjc
By vomiting in to a pan? Oi you! That's fresh egg penne with pancetta, chorizo, spinach, green beans, tomatoes, peppers, capers, mushrooms, garlic & a touch of chilli. Tastes pretty good

sjc
If there's one thing that really makes a dish it's one whole, unchopped tomato. There's 6 whole unchopped tomatoes in there.....they'll burst as it cooks and enfuse with the sauce.

welshbairn
Brick lane is both Bangladeshi and overrated (aside from the Jewish Bagel shops that survive at the top) Haven't been for a decade or so, but I liked the menu, meat or chicken, basic cafe furnishings, and tasty food. With yuppiedom expanding eastwards its probably fucked now. P.S. Birmingham and Manchester curry miles are mainly Bangladeshi too. It's not Bengal/Bangladeshi food I find boring, it's the shite they serve in the average High Street restaurant that I don't like, and the fact its hugely over priced.
