Those are the only two times anyone has ever expressed a view to me directly about the issue that seems to break the internet every ten minutes.

I still don't see how those kind of views are any different to the 'backs to the wall' stuff that gay men had to put up with, and probably still do.

People need to accept that these are problems that exist in their head.

The exact reason why I never watch it now. Not because the title character is now a woman but because of the political correctness pish.

Go on. This should be good.

Pot Noodles are absolutely horrific.

No idea why anyone gets annoyed at someone else wishing to identify with the gender of their choice, or why anyone else feels it's their business.

Bowie was supremely overrated. Definitely one of the most overrated of all time. Perhaps you had to have been around when he was in his prime. I can see how his look/style and different approach to music would have been a big standout at the time, but I find him a bland creep with a couple of decent tunes and a whole lot of 'meh'.

That was all going so well until the final paragraph.

I has been said that some like the noodles from a pot noodle in a buttered roll.

Buttered toast and beans, ya bass.

I went through a beans on toast phase over ten years ago and found french mustard on the buttered toast before adding the beans gives it a nice twist.

Edit: whole grain mustard is also a winner.

I may actually try that someday.

I've been using vinegar up to now.

Marmite on buttered toast topped with baked beans is the dog's dangly bits

Am i right in saying it was you that started a thread, on shagging amputees in a pram?

So if you read that you'll have read the context then, yes?

Apparently one risk point of spreading Covid indoors is speaking loudly so a lot of pubs, bars and restaurants are going to stop having loud music.  I think this development makes all the death and economic destruction worthwhile.

Define loud.

Haven't tried that yet.

What other food can you add marmite to that takes it up another level?

I'd imagine that smearing it on a fresh toley might improve the overall flavour.

Of the Marmite, that is.

I like you as a poster DA but that's a bit of a sweeping statement, i love Bowie but i can totally understand why some people don't like him, i don't love everything he ever did but can appreciate an artist that pushes themselves in other directions in order to keep the creative juices flowing rather than releasing music just for the sake of it, he tried so many different things, not always successfully by his own admission but it's that openness to and curiosity of other sounds that gave him his longevity.

I do reckon if he was on p&b he'd probably give you a greenie for the bland creep comment 😉

He’d definitely have ordered one of those prams.

Oh God. To think that people like Jim Davidson have been trying to warn us all this time, but it's too late!
