Bob in Denny
Not Pro Cycling related.. but a 'Tour D' Ecosse' and visits to our football grounds. Popped up in podcasting app this morning, The Cycling Podcast's Lionel Birnie and Simon Gill are attempting as above, Gretna Prologue and first stage from Gretna to Castle Douglas out now.. It's part of their Explore podcasts. You may enjoy, you may not but I'll follow it as some interesting side things going on as they travel... Will be sad to see him go, probably my favourite ever cyclist. Hopefully he can go out with at least one big win. Very difficult these days with the number of incredible young talents competing, especially when you are past your best. Maybe that's why he's decided to move to MTB.
peasy23
Been watching the Movistar doc on Netflix. I'm not fully convinced of the accuracy of the subtitles. It's a good watch, Lopez chucking it at the Vuelta is superb viewing. Biggest toys out the pram ever.

He never seems to know what to say when interviewed.. plenty more to come....

kiddy
Get your money on Pogacar for San Remo next weekend. He’s just humped a class field in Paris-Nice. Edited March 12, 2023 by kiddy
Gnash
Cracking finish to Milano San Remo, with a mega-group of Pogacar, Ganna, Van Aert and Van Der Poel going clear on the Poggio. Van Der Poel then smashed them all from near to top and the whole descent.

Evenepoel getting the better of Roglic at the third attempt in Catalunya and looking the stronger of the two. Should be a good Giro watching them go head to head over three weeks.
