IainMorton
Firstly, Atreyu were very good, got the crowd going really well, great energy and stage presence! Bleeding Mascara was a great opener and Becoming The Bull and Gallows were fantastic. IMO the best band of the night was Bring Me The Horizon. They were simply incredible, surpassing any expectations I had. Jona's clean vocals in F**k and The Sadness Will Never End sounded soooo good, and Blessed With a Curse was every bit as powerful live as it is on the album. And what a way to go out with the anthemic Diamonds Aren't Forever. Unfortunately there was no shortage of assholes in the crowd who booed them throughout the set and threw full cups of water at them and Matt's (drummer) frustration boiled over as he hurled a stick at a section of the crowd. Thankfully there were many others in the crowd who appreciate what they do. It was simply an amazing experience seeing them live. Bullet were also fairly epic...was also surprised they didn't play Hearts Burst Into Fire and also Fever, but there was a good selection in their set. The curtain dropping to the sound of Your Betrayal at the start was truly epic...Bittersweet Memories with the camera panning across the crowd on the screen was a great touch, and The Last Fight in particular was incredible! Absolutely amazing gig overall, one of the best I've ever experienced. Must have been me cos I thought BMTH were dire to say the least. Didn't get into them at all. Atreyu were surpringly good, I might check out some of their stuff. Bullet were immense. Great set, loved the opening and also the Scotland flag on screen during one of the last songs (can't remember which one!). Scream. Aim. Fire. was the highlight for me, although The Last Fight was also great. Like you said it would have been good to have Hearts Bursts Into Fire in there aswell, but hey ho can't complain as it was great anwyay!

I guess I enjoyed them so much because they're my favourite band out of the three (and probably my favourite band at the moment) and I was there primarily to see them rather than Bullet. If you're not into them I can understand why you might not enjoy them...when I first listened to them I was put off by the vocals initially, and I found they grow on you over time. Atreyu are also a very good band; would recommend checking out their Lead Sails Paper Anchor album.

BMTH were outstanding but Bullet were bluddy fantastic. Scream, Aim Fire and Tears don't Fall were my faves. One of the best gigs I've ever been to. A truly great night.

xbl
Went to see Arcade Fire at the SECC tonight. Top quality, 10 on 10. Same here, musically tremendous! Not as lively as other gigs (probably because I had a seating ticket), but they were incredibly talented and sounded fantastic live!

xbl
Went to see Arcade Fire at the SECC tonight. Top quality, 10 on 10. This. Fucking superb. One song I didn't catch the name of (might be obvious though) is the one sung by the girl where she waved the papers streamers at the end, do either of you know it? They played Rebellion, Power Out, and Keep the Car Running, so I was more than happy!

Not sure what the face value is but i'll part with it for a tenner. Could meet up in Glasgow beforehand or outside the venue. JogaBonito
Did anyone else buy their Deadmau5 tickets off Aeglive.co.uk? I was sent an e-mail on the 30/11 saying they were dispatched but I've yet to receive them ..
sonofjenova
Braved illness to see Godspeed You! Black Emperor at the Barrowlands last Wednesday. They're the best band in the world, and were outstanding from beginning to end. Two hours wasn't enough.

Mik
Municipal Waste at Ivory Blacks tomorrow. They're gonna f**k you up. Seen them a few years back '07 maybe? supporting The Haunted in the Cathouse. Great gig that night. MW got a great reception from the crowd, I had never heard of them prior to the gig right enough. They threw foam surfboards in the crowd and stuff haha
