Waldo Ponce
Got a ticket for Kate Tempest on Monday (23rd) in Glasgow at Stereo, I've never heard of the venue can anyone who has been let me know what like it is?

Good venue, incredibly close to the front entrance of Glasgow Central. I've played it a couple of times with various bands I've been in and the sound in there's very good. My initial impression of it was that some of the furniture looked like it was out of a 1960's IKEA sale but you get over that soon. You'll have a good night, I can say that much! Got my first proper gig at the end of March - The View at the Barras. Anyone seen them live before? Seen them about 6 or 7 times before and I've yet to see them play a bad gig. The Barras will be absolutely bouncing with them in there!

Best venue of its size in Glasgow imho. Only issue is when it's rammed it's mad sweaty. Good high stage and great sound. Like Andy_K have also played there and it's great for playing and viewing.

the aggressive beggar
Jesus and Mary chain last night, loved it, full body was pounding by the end
murphy1970
Waited a long time to see The Mary Chain and they were well worth the wait. Superb gig from first to last. Psychocandy is a class album & they did it full justice. The shorter first set was also top drawer, especially Reverence & Upside Down
Smurph
Was meant to go see Enter Shikari tomorrow but I'm working. Their new album is pish anyway. Can imagine they're still great live though.
Ira Gaines
Quite like the new album. I'm absolutely pumped for this one tomorrow night.
Smurph
A good whack of my friends are going so I'm quite gutted I'm missing it, though I've seen them three times before, but every time they were dynamite. So much energy. Might go to the afterparty at Catty since it's Shikari Sound System but depends when I finish.
Ira Gaines
Shikari Sound System at the Cathouse?! f**k! Might need to make a rare Cathouse visit for that. This is my first time seeing Enter Shikari on their own show. Seen them at Leeds in 2007 and T in the Park in 2012. The Leeds performance was extraordinary stuff. T... shit crowd on a dready day. They were good, but were up against it.

Mr Sugden
Maximo Park were excellent last night - with the exception that they didn't play Limassol Liquid Room is a cracking venue for a gig.

Agreed. I was desperate for them to play Limassol, Acrobat and Parisian Skies but reckoned we'd be lucky to hear any more than two of those. Loved being so close to the band as well, and the club night with the lads at propaganda was a pish laugh too. Back home now and with work in less than an hour, I've certainly felt fresher...
50/50 Winner
Way too many gigs these days full of c*nts blethering and taking photos of themselves. This annoys me, if you can't show respect to the performer then you shouldn't be at the gig. There's also the fannies who film whole sections of the gig on their phones, what's the point? Are you really going to watch back the video? Chances are it won't get watched and eventually be deleted when you are nearly running out of phone memory. Just enjoy the moment and keep your phone in your pocket ya fud!

Ira Gaines
The only time watching a band live on a screen is acceptable is if they're on the TV.
Ira Gaines
Enter Shikari last night btw. Absolutely phenomenal. The crowd were fucking wild for it which helped. The new stuff was good, especially "The Last Garrison". "Juggernauts" after it was probably the highlight of the show. "Slipshod" is a song that came into it's own live.
