Dons_1988
The world is over populated and getting rid of people who don’t like dogs would be a good start.

19QOS19
The sign of a good pub is whether or not dogs are allowed in. If they aren't, it's undoubtedly a soulless shithole.
The OP
Pubs should allow dogs however dog owners should realise that (as is also the case with children) a lot of people find them to be boring, smelly irritants and they should therefore keep them away from the pub.

I dont mind a dog in the pub that sits beside its owner quietly. But dog owners that let their dog approach and jump up at complete strangers then try to make pleasantries about it need to be placed in the sea. Utter arsehole behaviour. Get this fucking animal away from me.

Get this fucking animal away from me. Yeah this is it for me, but if best case scenario is you don’t notice them then there’s very little to justify having them there. Some folk do fawn over any dogs and children they see tbf (simpletons mostly). Edited July 14, 2019 by The OP
Dons_1988
If a dog runs up to you in the pub it’s because whoever owns it has no control and shouldn’t be anywhere near dog ownership, never mind the pub. Dogs are absolutely superb and given the OP seems to think it’s more acceptable to be in a pub full of Celtic fans we can file it in the irrelevant opinions thread.
Romeo
People who take dogs to pubs are fucking arseholes who either treat them like children, are pretending to their significant other that they have taken the dog for a walk. Go to the pub without your pet like a normal person or don't go at all. If you walk into a pub with a dog 80% of the people in there are thinking "here's an arsehole bringing a dog to the pub" Edited July 14, 2019 by Romeo
