New Vegas by a mile. Mainly because walking across the wasteland isn't laggy anymore(maybe that was just me?). And just small improvements like hardcore mode, weapon mods, companion interaction etc. The storyline has a good basis to it, but its not long enough, and I don't feel there is enough towns and settlements to explore, most of the locations seem to be pointless shacks and caves. Also it might just be because I haven't played Fallout 3 in 18 months or so, but there seems to be a bigger incentive on using the ironsights, rather than just waiting and spamming the VATS.

See, I think they are supposed to be different like that.Fallout 3 was set in a WastelandNew vegas is set in places that are a wreck but are sort of big towns/cities. If that makes any sense?

Got a bit fed up of my first game, after 79 hours, as I was pretty much at the point where I'd done everything important/worthwhile but the final quest(s). Even managed 33 achievements or so, so I've started a new game on Hardcore. About 4 hours in to it, and I've just reached Novac. It's a bit difficult as I keep forgetting to eat/drink/sleep, but I'm coping. Also, I didn't realise you could do Hardcore mode on easy difficulty, I thought Hardcore would mean...Hardcore. Guess not!

I hate how stimpaks or sleep doesn't heal limbs, there was a lot of running about with broken limbs in mine.

When you go to Primms and the convicts have escaped are you supposed to take them all out? They keep attacking me, c***s.

Yeah, you kill them then go to the casino and talk to the people in there. You need to find Primm a sheriff, you go either go in the hotel and liberate it(it actually doesn't matter if the deputy gets killed or not) and you find out that there's someone in the NCR facility who can be the sheriff. Or you can program the robot in the casino to do it.

Ordered the other night, so hoping that It arrives in time for the weekend so I can have a mammoth session on it.

Looking forward to it.

What online features do you get with this game??

I bought this game, installed it and played about with it for an hour or so. Can't find two plants at the graveyard and at the school. I got bored trying to find them. Are they a map feature that being a spud I haven't been able to use as of yet? Will play it for a few more hours at the weekend.

None. It's not that kind of game.

*Apart from any future DLC that is.

I'm assuming that there is enough in the story to keep it going for hours on end?

i did it backwards and only recently done primm, i made meyers from the prison complex the sherriff and people seem to love him. dont know if it makes any difference though.

Also

Can anyone tell me the difference between fixing the rockets trajectory or making them crash into each other at the repcon test site? i chose to fix the trajectory so i dont know if or where they landed.
