NavyBlueArmy1876
Must have been decent enough to get a move from Morton to Carlisle. Will reserve judgement until I have seen him play

In all seriousness McKee is a decent player at this level although I'm not sure where he'd fit in your team. Attacking midfielder but not much use defensively. How does he compare to what Morton have at the moment? -

Guest
Are you happy with another central midfielder who is proven to be bang average at best in this league? We are crying out for width and he's signed someone else to clog the middle of the park. Did you not notice we signed width last week? I seriously don't judge people till I have seen them in our strip. Unlike some.Stop moaning ffs.Morton fans saying he is attacking midfielder
Hughsie
Well, you can't say Houstie isn't consistent. Known to him, plays in central midfield, isn't what we need. That being said, hopefully he does well.

Moaner "Must be good if Carlisle signed him" - and then saw him in training and didn't play him "FIFA 17 managers think they know it all" - as well as his real life manager at Carlisle who barely let him get a minute on the park I hope you're right but this smacks of another lazy signing that continues our reversion to the mean in the middle of the Championship. -

It's telling that for a player that spent 3 years and made 64 appearances for Morton, the jury is still very much out on him. He's known in these circles as 'good wee player' mainly down to one fan's love for him and that phrase getting used any time he did actually have a good game. Also telling that his best spell coincided with contract renegotiation time. On the face of it, he can be a decent player at this level. Fair amount of skill and can hit a decent shot. Always looking to take control, always showing for the ball. Biggest criticism is that he slows the game down too much, often taking the ball or passing backwards when better more advanced options were on. How does he compare to what we currently have? This was discussed a little on our forum when it was discovered that he had been transfer listed. I don't think many would disagree that he wouldn't get near our starting midfield right now and would also be behind Tidser as main central midfield backup.
AsimButtHitsASix
Joe McKee was useless for us until the last six months of his contract. But ran the show v Rangers at Ibrox last season.
Rugster
Wouldn't get a game for Morton. That's what we're aspiring to. -
