Cavalier football is not his bag and it is all about taking at least one point and hoping for three. Not good to watch. It's not a big park the bus type football but trying to keep the ball in midfield and only going forward if you are certain not to lose the ball. Playing long balls to a Four foot striker who has no one to lay it off quickly to is not good. Baird is a bit like the Duracell bunny but does not rank as a penalty box predator. Perhaps he sets us up that way as it is all we have but it does not say a lot for Miller or McHugh and it certainly does not get the pulse racing. A play off place at any cost Peter?
